Qualifications
5 + years of experience working in a warehouse environment; previous supervisory or lead experience preferred; must have mechanical experience to repair tools.
Acceptable driving record.
Ability to work well with and support internal customers

Must have an active CDL A that permits interstate travel.

Job Responsibilities:
- Location Markouts: Travel throughout Connecticut to perform "Call Before You Dig" markouts at various sites where our crews will be installing signs for the Department of Transportation. Your attention to detail will ensure all safety and compliance measures are met.
- Shop Organization: Maintain an orderly and organized shop environment. Responsibilities include general cleanup, proper organization of equipment and materials, and instructing employees on best practices to ensure everything is easily accessible.
- Miscellaneous Errands: Complete various errands related to shop operations as needed, supporting our team in the field and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Qualifications:
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication skills to instruct and collaborate with team members.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Being multilingual in Spanish and English is an advantage.
Compensation:

Purpose
The warehouse coordinator's role is to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities. You will implement production, productivity, quality and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and to increase the company's overall market share.
Primary Responsibilities
· Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods
· Own warehouse administrative functions
· Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
· Ensure shipments' and inventory transactions' accuracy
· Accurately document all receivables from their multiple sources (FedEx, UPS, USPS, Pine Drivers, Customer Drop Off, Purchase order validation and other sources)
· Promptly communicate with customers and supervisor for all discrepancies (i.e. Missing items, damages, unexpected returns, etc.)
· Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status
· Enter all inbound/outbound items into ERP System, update system notes (i.e. Infor M3)
· Hazmat certified (specifics)
· Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems
· Support warehouse initiatives and projects
· Work in collaboration with WarehouseSupervisor to ensure warehouse success
· Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
· Confer and coordinate activities with other departments
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area
· Act as an active back up to other warehouse personnel, when needed
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

The Receiving/Inventory Coordinator is responsible for monitoring incoming receipts of materials and driving the cycle count process. This role ensures daily inventory integrity and accuracy by troubleshooting inventory and transaction discrepancies. The position requires maintaining open communication between Sales, Quality Control, Finance, Operations, Transportation Carriers, and the Warehouse and Operations teams to ensure efficient coordination of all receiving and inventory activities.
Essential Duties
* Process daily cycle counts and enter results.
* Evaluate cycle count accuracy and make recommendations to Finance.
* Assist in cycle counting and related duties to ensure inventory control and accuracy.
* Receive miscellaneous purchase orders.
* Assist the Planning Department with interplant and outside supplier processes.
* Audit warehouse personnel for adherence to Quality Checklists and policies; perform quality checks as needed and report concerns to the Supervisor/Manager.
* Process Quality Control documentation requests and ensure the QC Department provides all requested documents.
* Process all sample requests.
* Communicate daily and effectively with Inside Sales, Quality, Shipping, IT, and Accounting to resolve system-related problems and discrepancies.
* Maintain a close working relationship with Accounting to ensure all shipping documents are forwarded to invoicing daily and all computer files related to invoicing are updated.
* Process all stock transfers between East Granby and any remote warehouses.
Additional Duties - Assist Shipping Team
* Process shipments according to customer sales order specifications.
* Process all stock orders by preparing cut paperwork and updating orders in the system to reflect work in progress.
* Confirm each shipment meets customer packaging specifications and review all documentation (manifests, packing lists, air bills, bills of lading, quality reports, etc.) for accuracy and completeness.
* Verify shipment contents - total footage, length requirements, labeling, reel sizes, wrapping, etc. - to ensure they exactly match the customer's order; communicate discrepancies promptly.
* Assign pickups to carriers and organize the daily pickup schedule.
Education and Experience Preferred
* High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced education beyond high school preferred.
* Aptitude for working with numbers and computer systems/reports.
Knowledge and Skills Preferred
* Strong attention to detail and follow-through; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Effective communication skills with all levels of the organization and external partners.
* Adaptable and able to handle changing priorities while meeting deadlines.
* Prior experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing preferred.
