Summary/Objective

Ensures warehouse personnel report to work daily and on time.
Performs all necessary training of warehouse procedures to all warehouse personnel.
Motivates warehouse employees to result in high levels of productivity.
Maintains a positive Company profile in supporting communication of supervisor with customers, vendors, etc.
Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 5 years of warehousing experience within an industrial setting.
Must be knowledgeable of material and tools used within the construction or shipbuilding industry.
Previous supervisory experience required.

Knowledge of warehousing functions and procedures.
Knowledge of basic computer software.

Senior Warehouse Coordinator
Warehouse supervisor job in Louisiana
The Senior Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for managing in-house maintenance warehouse inventory in their respective Regional Distribution Center as well as providing additional support to the other 3 Regional Distribution Centers. This individual supports all warehouse functions by ensuring a consistent stock of materials is readily available for the Store Support Center, In- House Maintenance Technicians and retail locations. The Senior Warehouse Coordinator is also responsible for visiting the other markets on a Quarterly basis to collaborate and support the Warehouse Coordinators. The Senior Warehouse Coordinator will also act as a liaison for Distribution Center leadership for IHM inquiries.
Responsibilities:
Carries out daily warehouse tasks to ultimately support an efficient and effective warehouse.
Processes and pulls/assembles warehouse orders for internal customers.
Ensures orders are shipped in a timely manner to the designated retail locations, IHM team or SSC department.
Receives warehouse deliveries and ensures each is distributed to the appropriate location in the warehouse.
Supports all warehouse maintenance, RTD, and organization needs.
Travels to the other 3 Regional Distribution Centers each Quarter
Support other markets for Audits
Provide training for the Warehouse Coordinator Role
Qualifications:
3+ years professional experience preferred
Knowledge of warehouse operations a plus
Relevant warehouse certifications a plus
