We are looking for a talented Warehouse Supervisor to assist in the management our New Jersey facility.
The Warehouse Supervisor supports the direction and coordination of warehouse operating functions. He/she is responsible for supporting warehouse facility management, verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory accuracy, maintain compliance, understand, create and follow company SOP’s and building a successful team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Strong understanding of and experience with warehousing functions with the ability to detect possible threats to performance and problem solve to prevent poor performance of the facility and employees.
Strong facility management experience, utilizing project management skills
Demonstrated effective leadership skills in setting direction and articulating expectations with excellent communication skills
Flexibility to succeed in a high-growth, high-energy environment; providing hands on support while building a successful team with the Warehouse Manager
Ability to assess standard operating procedures for effectiveness and make improvements accordingly
Ability to maintain a safety culture in full compliance with company and OHSA requirements
Good math, language and reading skills; intermediate to advanced computer skills
Advanced experience in trouble shooting issues with computer systems, PDA scanners, warehouse equipment, etc.
Experienced in the Federal, State and Local employment laws.
Forklift certifier per OSHA standards
Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
