The supervisor role within Aurologistics/Distribution is the front line of the management team within the production area of distribution operations. The supervisor will lead a team of staff, permanents and contractors, responsibile for performance in the area of the business that their qualifications and experience provide the largest value add to the business. The areas include but are not limited to Inbound Import Receiving, Order Fulfillment/Shipping, Operations, COP, and Inventory Control.
The supervisor will have direct reports, permanent or contractor, reporting to him during an assigned shift, across the areas of Distribution. The supervisor, tactical prowess, will be tasked with cultivating his team to meet the daily business needs across their shift.

Completeness and correctness of all orders filled. Checks outbound shipments for accuracy and readiness for customer delivery.
Cross docking of critical shipments by coordinating with Inbound and Scheduling team.
Collects all documentation for outbound freight and ensures all documentation including receiving paperwork are filed appropriately.
Ensure Pick orders are shipped as needed, ensure proper labels and paperwork have been applied before shipping and examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
Planning routes and process shipments to customer's site, including packing lists and bills of lading.
Liaising and negotiating with shipping carriers/trucking companies for preferential rates.
Keep track of quantity, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
Meet cost, productivity, and accuracy with timeliness targets
Experience with LTL suppliers such as Fedex, ABF, UPS, and Old Dominion
Experience with load planning, trailer /load consolidation, and optimization
Associate's Degree Required, or 3+ years of pharmaceutical experience focusing on Distribution, Packaging, Warehousing, and/or Operations
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
Strong team building and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work effectively cross-functionally
Can multi-task effectively utilizing strong organizational skills

We're looking for a Shipping Clerk to join our Shipping team to verify, package and ship all outgoing packages for all submissions. You'll report to the Logistics Manager and work from our Jersey City, NJ office.
What You'll Do:
Sort all orders by return carrier service.
Verify order correctness and completeness.
Package orders in mailing box containers, seal with tape and attach outside label.
Process shipping for specified return carrier and close order.
Who You Are:
You have 1-3+ months of previous shipping experience and a high school diploma or GED.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide by 5, 10, and/or 20, and ability to perform these operations using weight measurement and volume.
Listen effectively and get clarification; able to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and coworkers.

Qualifications:

Position Overview
The Logistics Supervisor oversees daily routing and operational activity for a midsize fleet of 11-14 drivers. This role is responsible for route planning, DOT compliance, driver support, safety initiatives, and maintaining strong customer relationships. You will play a key part in ensuring safe, on-time, and cost-effective freight movement while supporting both drivers and customer partners.
Key Responsibilities
Driver & Operations Management
Route and assign daily loads for 11-14 drivers, optimizing efficiency and on-time performance.
Monitor freight movement, exceptions, delays, and ETAs; provide updates to customers and internal teams.
Ensure all drivers clock out daily and maintain accurate time records.
Verify, monitor, and address driver idle time trends.
Maintain strong professional relationships with drivers to support retention and performance.
Safety & Compliance
Oversee driver DOT compliance, including hours of service, logs, inspections, and safety protocols.
Lead daily or weekly safety bulletin discussions, training initiatives, and follow-up.
Support and promote a proactive safety culture across the fleet.
Conduct and oversee yard & equipment inspections; coordinate maintenance and repairs.
Customer & Jobsite Coordination
Call jobsites and customer locations to confirm or arrange delivery windows.
Communicate route updates, delays, and service changes professionally and promptly.
Administrative & Reporting
Process and review return paperwork for pickups resulting from damage, incorrect product, or customer refusal.
Assist with payroll, operational reporting, and other required documentation.
Track performance metrics, trends, and operational KPIs for senior management review.
Support budget oversight and basic P&L awareness.
After-Hours Support
Provide limited after-hours driver support (approximately 5%) for critical issues.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or operations supervision preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Financial acumen with ability to understand and monitor budget/P&L performance.
Proficiency with computers, routing tools, and operational software.
