Maintains cost per pound for labor used in the warehouse.
Ensures that all Food service orders are verified by product.
Ensures that all dates are sent correctly to each customer following all specifications issued to his/her in writing.
Maintains product rotation in accordance with First In-First Out (FIFO)
Ensures ALL trucks leave at their schedule departure time.
Keeps employees informed on factors relating to their work assignment, work progress, and opportunity for advancement.

Maintains spoils and damages at a minimum and follow the necessary procedures when they occur.
Conducts accurate inventories by code.

Participates as an active member in the safety, quality, and food safety committees.
Performs safety and sanitation audits.
Conducts monthly training sessions on safety and food safety for warehouse employees.
Participates in special safety assignments.
Maintains open and continuous communication with production and maintenance supervisors.
Performs other duties as required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High School diploma, GED or equivalent required. College Degree preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations required. Preferably within a food manufacturing environment. With 2 years in a supervisory capacity or 4 years as a Lead in a manufacturing environment required. *Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered for the above.

This work group is comprised of the Purchasing Department. The Purchasing Department provides comprehensive procurement to order fulfillment oversight for the Colorado Mesa University campus. Purchasing works closely with the Accounts Payable team for vendor payments. Included in this work unit's responsibilities are the administrative functions of procurement, travel, shipping and receiving, campus fleet management, and campus mail distribution. The Mailroom Supervisor is responsible for all incoming and outgoing campus mail, USPS package distribution, reconciliation, and provides support to fleet management. Some positions may require licensure or certification.
OVERVIEW AND ROLE SCOPE OF TEAM AND/OR TASKS
The Mail Room Supervisor is responsible for all incoming and outgoing USPS campus mail and packages as well as providing logistical distribution across multiple CMU campuses. The Mail Room Supervisor has working knowledge of campus mail distribution routes, mail classification and sorting, reconciliation, and on campus mail delivery and outgoing mail pick up for daily metering services. The Supervisor will take campus standard marketing mailings to processing facilities.
The Mailroom Supervisor is responsible for high level of customer service. This position is a point of contact for all carriers and campus users seeking mail services. It deploys mail services throughout varies routes while maintaining customer service at the mail room location.
Logistical abilities needed in mail classification for cost efficiencies, in recipient identification for delivery efficiencies, and in offloading to assess the best method of retrieving packages includingpallet pulls, forkliftextensions.
Mail Room Supervisor provides equipment maintenance and repair oversight for vehicles and equipment used in receiving/delivering mail on campus. This includes two mini trucks,a forklift, 15-passenger vans and various small equipment including pallet jacks, dollies and other mail moving equipment.
This position provides supportto fleet management by assisting fleet users with pick up, drop off, clean outs and gas ups. This position is responsible for supervising work study students to augment staffing needs and increase field efficiency in daily distribution.
The Mail Room Supervisor is requiredto be proficient in the department's eProcurement system and ERP software, soon to be Workday. The Supervisor will have a working knowledge of Excel with the ability to compile data and run spreadsheets in support of the mail functions including reconciliation. The Supervisor will be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, with Outlook and Teams being used as a primary form of communication.

Acts as the primary point of contact for external carriers like the USPS and others, communicating the university's evolving delivery needs across the expanding campus footprint.
Outgoing mail and package pick up, classification, drop off, and reconciliation (40% of Job):
Involves strategic logistics and route management, ensuring the efficient pickup of outgoing mail and packages. Key responsibilities include classifying mail by category, coordinating timely drop-offs, and providing essential logistical support for complex orders and financial reconciliation.
Data Entry (15% of Job):
Manage the University's shipping accounts with vendors such as FedEx and the
United States Post Office (USPS). Provide financial reconciliation and process vendor payments for invoices under discretionary levels, all while ensuring compliance with Purchasing department protocols.
Functional Mailroom Set up (5% of Job):
Maintain organized mailroomspace to effectively preserve workspace and allow sorting of items with easy identification. Assist with surplus relocation.
Fleet Rental Van Support (3% of Job):
Provide maintenance supportto the University's academic rentalfleet of 15-Passenger vans.

**Job Summary:**
As a **Manager, Distribution (3rd Shift)** , you will supervise up to 20 hourly personnel in the receipt, processing, packaging, storage, order filling and shipment of parts to Caterpillar dealers, Distribution Centers and Regional Distribution Centers to support the end users of Caterpillar equipment.

**What You Will Do:**
+ Contribute to the development of an effective workforce by engaging and mentoring employees to follow all established work processes
+ Lead teams working on problem resolution and process improvement

The Role
The purpose of the Warehouse Coordinator is to maintain the day to day administrative and physical tasks of the warehouse by receiving, inventorying, locating, pulling, staging, and loading furniture/ related products. Coordinators carry out the defined and documented processes which include management of external and internal customer information within technology-enabled tools intended specifically for use in the office furniture industry to manage assets and storage. This role requires strong organizational skills, communication skills, and attention to detail while demonstrating the ability to collaborate with others.
What You Will Do
~ Essential Job Responsibilities
Perform various product receiving and locating responsibilities including working with subcontracted labor:
Physically unloading, sorting and palletizing furniture and related products.
Checking receipt of furniture and related products against the packing list/product list/product activity.
Checking all furniture and related products and packaging for any signs of damage.
Noting any discrepancies in the shipper's Bill of Lading.
Notifying the work team as well as the Warehouse Lead and/or Distribution Manager of any discrepancies.
Finding and placing palletized furniture and related products in the appropriate location.
Perform and complete tasks related to the long-term storage such as separating, inventory recording, racking, and pulling of product utilizing software. Reporting to external and internal customers discrepancies, and current inventory(s).
Manage the inventory and organization of return products and related customer assets.
Track and input received WIP & LTS inventories on a handwritten form and/or electronically.
Ability to create and set up daily pulls and/or inventory reports using Workplace Resource digital platforms.
Perform various pulling and staging responsibilities:
Move the furniture and related products from its location to the appropriate staging area.
Check all furniture and related products against the packing list / product list.
Maintain a record of Workplace Resource owned equipment and supplies (panel carts, flat dollies, machine carts, totes, etc.) with both a hard copy and digital.
Establish and maintain the data in the asset/inventory management system on a daily basis to ensure customer assets are correct, including data entry, deletion, and operational control.
Set up and prep RGA and customer requested shipments by printing off Bill of Ladings and understanding the basic shipping concepts as it pertains to LTL and dedicated loads.
Operate all equipment, as well as train on equipment (stand-up hi-los, pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.) in a safe manner, ensuring that equipment is kept clean and free of debris.
Maintain truck maintenance schedule and coordinate with the Warehouse Lead to schedule trucks for maintenance.
Maintain & record equipment checked out to Installers/Movers.
Maintain a clean, safe work area, free from excess debris on floors, racks, and outside dock areas.
Properly record receipt of furniture and related products inventory for accurate data entry into the operating system.
Maintains solid business relationships by communicating, problem-solving and following up on regular basis with internal partners and customers to their satisfaction.
Understand and support the receiving process to ensure warehouse processes are executed, combining the Kham/IQ procedures to ensure efficient and accurate inventory management.
Provide support for MKPS initiatives, problem solving, special projects and continuous improvement of logistics operation.
~Qualifications and/or Experience
The preferred candidate will hold a high school diploma or minimum of 2-3 years working in a similar position preferably within the office furniture industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge of applicable laws, rules, regulations and/or policies and procedures associated with supporting a warehouse.
