They will manage daily operations within the plant's logistics function, ensuring efficient material flow and storage, coordinating with production schedules, and maintaining cost-effective operations. **In this role, you will:** + Direct and coordinate activities related to the handling, storage, and distribution of materials and products in plants. + Work with the BU Material & Scheduling Management team to ensure scheduling, replenishment, and material management activities for the plant are complete. + Offer input to the BU MSM team regarding scheduling information. + Manage finished goods and HALB inventory, as well as inbound and outbound shipping, receiving, and transportation activities according to the delivery schedule. + Oversee warehousing procedures, provide technical support on material handling, storage, usage, and equipment performance, and manage the Plant Materials Management team, including Shift Leads and Material Handlers. + In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in inventory management, shipping and manufacturing processes. + Proficiency in email communication, preparing presentations + Strong understanding of plant working capital, working with the materials team to manage it effectively. + Support all three shifts and handle emergencies as they arise. \#LI-Onsite **What we look for:** + 3+ years of experience in supply chain and/or logistics + 2+ years of leadership experience, ensuring that goals are clearly understood, feedback is effectively conveyed, and any issues are promptly addressed. + Hands-on experience with SAP EWM, SAP S/4HANA, MES or another Warehouse Management System.
