We are looking for a Global Supply Chain Group Lead for 3rd shift (7:30 PM-6:30 AM) to oversee hourly IUE Union employees, including four team members and one team leader within a warehouse environment. The supervisor will manage shipping and receiving operations, ensuring materials are handled properly and trucks are loaded and unloaded using manned forklifts. Safety is a top priority, as the team will be moving, lifting, and stacking materials, requiring experience with Powered Industrial Vehicles such as forklifts. Daily responsibilities include shipping component parts to customers and the plant, receiving shipments from both the plant and outside suppliers, and managing the day-to-day activities of the team ensuring timely execution of shipping schedules and material flow. The warehouse handles significant volume, including 10-12 trailers per night for engines and shipping out four truckloads nightly to the plant.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
1-3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (supply chain/warehouse inventory experience preferred)
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage an hourly workforce (5 people)
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and uphold high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency
Must be able to pass a physical assessment required for PIV (powered industrial vehicle) licensing
Comfortable with 3rd shift 7:30 PM-6:30 AM (10-hour shifts) Monday-Friday, and 2-3 Saturdays per month

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage day-to-day logistics operations, including but not limited to inbound receiving, accurate warehousing, material delivery, and outbound shipments.
Assign jobs to all operators at the start of each shift and ensure all requirements are covered throughout the shift.
Perform daily audits of hourly operators tasks.
Properly update payroll records daily.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry preferred.
Proven ability to manage up to 50 hourly employees and multiple operational processes.
Previous experience in a unionized environment preferred.
Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Nature and Scope
This position is a senior member of the Logistics Team. In conjunction with Production Management, the Logistics Team provides input and assistance to other Departments as needed. This position plays a critical role in maintaining production schedules and meeting Company goals. The Receiving Supervisor will be able to perform, oversee and provide signatory approval of all activities associated with Warehouse activities. The Receiving Supervisor will provide direction, training and mentorship to as needed. The Receiving Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the proper receipt, controlled movement storage of and inventorying of all materials stored in the warehouse. The Receiving Supervisor will monitor data entry activities for the computerized warehousing system and is the lead for corporate inventory audits. The Receiving Supervisor will monitor and ensure that all warehouse supplies are available and ordered as needed.

Education Requirements and Qualifications

Ability to certify and drive material handling equipment in warehouse areas.
May be required to use personal vehicle to travel between sites.
Must have a valid U.S driver license and be able to operate vehicles safely.
Must be able to read documents in Standard English such as Standard Operating Procedures, maintenance schedules and operating manuals.
