    This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining a smooth operation of the Warehouse Department and providing general supervision of all warehouse operations and functional processes within the department. The primary responsibility is to maintain a properly staffed, trained, and engaged team of warehouse associates who support the site by offering the highest levels of logistics support. This position involves planning, directing, and coordinating all warehousing activities. Must supply the production lines in a timely manner with no disruptions. Must drive key performance indicators for cost savings, customer service levels, and safety through proper scheduling and training. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: • Lead by example. • Must be able to learn all applicable SAP transactions within 30 days. • Drive a safety-minded culture daily. • Must be flexible with work hours to ensure all tasks are appropriately monitored and completed. • Support and participate in quarterly inventories, ensuring we meet our accuracy goals. • Maintain payroll daily, issuing attendance letters as needed. • Assist in regular reviews of team members, including annual feedback. • Developing and mentoring associates through frequent 1:1s and development plans for each associate • Effectively communicate with other departments, ensuring all materials for production are correctly staged at each line. • Support all aspects of associate Safety, Quality & Food safety, and GMP policies and procedures daily. • Ensure the next shift is set up for success through daily connection points and pass downs. • Must be certified on all warehouse equipment within 60 days. • Must be willing to be certified as a formal trainer for all warehouse equipment. • Must be willing to jump in and help as needed to ensure the line continues to run. • Coordinate the investigation of accidents or unsafe conditions and work with the Safety team towards resolutions and area improvements to facilitate accident prevention. • Enforce company policies and issue coaching/disciplinary documentation as needed. • Facilitate communication with the management team and teammates, including daily end-of-day reports. • Train new associates (forklift, load trucks, unload trucks, stock rotation, SAP transactions, and put product away). • Supervise the loading and unloading of trucks; ensure that the trucks are loaded on time and leave on time. • Write bill of ladings, keep accurate records of every pallet, monitor the pallets, drums, and totes, keep inventory, and ensure that these are sent to the right vendors. • Maintain inventory levels through SAP warehouse monitor and ensure appropriate material movement transactions occur. • Responsible for compliance and knowledge with OSHA regulations and other safety standards. • Safely maintain facility in accordance with company and governmental standards. • Ensure that warehousing procedures offer the cost-effective solutions that drive profitability. • Must facilitate communication with the quality assurance personnel regarding the ingredients, lot numbers, and any issues regarding existing stock. • Must stand in as department leader in the absence of the Warehouse Manager. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform their duties satisfactorily. The following list is representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required: • 2-3 years of Leadership experience. Preferably in high-volume warehousing. • Experience in an FDA-regulated environment, also SQF or AIB audits. • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, work instructions, and inter-company memos/outside correspondence professionally. • Management of warehouse staff (including hiring, training, developing, motivating, and resolving associate issues). • Strong analytical and communication skills. • 5S/Lean experience a plus. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with substantial related proven leadership and supervisory experience in manufacturing. Complete working knowledge of the manufacturing process, typically resulting from a minimum of five years' experience in related jobs. Experience in the Food industry preferred. Airport Location: Salt Lake Airport F&B Advertised Compensation: $17.00 to $19.17 Summary: The Warehouse Receiver is responsible for performing physical and clerical tasks associated with shipment and reception of supplies and finished products. Duties include verifying shipping records and correct packaging and labeling; unpacking received goods, checking for damage and accuracy of shipment, and working with materials transport companies; performing all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by management. This is a non-exempt position and typically reports to the Warehouse Manager or the General Manager, depending on local requirements. Essential Functions: * Provides excellent service to internal and external customers in receiving, processing and distributing merchandise and supplies to stores * Complies with delivery schedules; accurately, timely, and efficiently processes deliveries * Executes ticketing process according to Company standards * Accurately and efficiently stocks shipments * Pulls, prepares, and processes daily orders according to requisitions generated by the stores * Reviews orders for accuracy * Utilizes computer to manage accurate inventory for warehouse operations * Assists in the transportation of orders and returns between the warehouse and stores (where applicable) * Identifies damaged and expired products * Implements product rotation based on product code dates in warehouse and concepts * Follows all security and safety procedures established by the Company and Branch * Assists in all maintenance responsibilities and activities established by the warehouse * Maintains fixtures and equipment storage * Assists with bin location upkeep and the physical inventory process * Maintains HACCP charts, walk-in coolers and freezers (where applicable) Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment: * Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers * Requires the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner * Requires the ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions * Requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs * Requires the ability to drive a truck safely (as applicable). Additionally, it is responsible for ensuring that all vehicles and equipment utilized under the USMS BPA adhere to standard operating policies and procedures, with regular maintenance conducted in compliance with federal, state, and organizational laws, rules, and regulations. Further, it is responsible for routine monitoring of Officers on transportation missions and hospital guard assignments. Primary Duties and Responsibilities The Transportation Supervisor conducts interviews and provides recommendations for hiring Senior Transportation Officers and Transportation Officers. Ensures all necessary forms are accurate and comprehensive. Trains Officers on policies and procedures related to the transportation of detainees. Provides overall supervision of Officers assigned to their respective USMS Region, ensuring proper scheduling and offering mentorship as needed. Maintains a roster and assigns Officers to missions upon request of the USMS Acts as a liaison between GTI and the districts within their designated region Recommends performance improvement plans when necessary and implements effective disciplinary measures for Officers who fail to adhere to strict policies and procedures regarding the transportation and guarding of detainees. If performance does not improve, recommends additional disciplinary actions, including termination. Continuously enhances Officers' knowledge and skills by facilitating training sessions and providing relevant materials. Conducts refresher courses in defensive driving and hospital guard techniques to ensure Officers remain informed about current policies and procedures. The Transportation Supervisor ensures that Officers scheduled hours comply with policy and regulatory constraints. Monitors Officer schedules weekly, making necessary adjustments to align with all federal Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations, as well as organizational policies and procedures. Provides retraining and counseling as needed. Oversees and schedules maintenance services and repairs for all assigned vehicles. Ensure that any defects identified by Officers or inspectors are addressed promptly. Maintains effective recordkeeping and scheduling for vehicle service and inspection dates, managing maintenance costs without compromising safety. The Transportation Supervisor reports and investigates all accidents involving assigned Officers. Identifies problem areas, provides retraining, counseling, and disciplinary action when necessary. Qualifications Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent certification required. Possession of applicable state requisites for employment.
