- Provide first line supervision to CIT employees
- Oversee daily operations including but not limited to route efficiency, route scheduling, opening and closing of branch

- Provide coaching and skill development to employees on a consistent basis
- Leverage systems, equipment and process redesign to drive continuous improvement

Serco is supporting USACE to renovate the Power Building (J-Plant) and providing it with High Altitude Electro Magnetic Pulse (HEMP) protective measures.The Logistician's primary role is to provide on-site receiving and accountability of construction materials and equipment. Tasks included inventory control, tool management, and hazardous material control and management. Additional duties include assisting Travel personnel with housing arrangements for arriving workforce personnel, meal card management, and return flight arrangements.
**This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance**
**ROTATIONAL SCHEDULE:** **_This is a year-round position; current rotation is 3 months on and 1 month away from the site_**
**In this role, you will:**
+ Provide on-site shipping and receiving materials and construction equipment.
+ Provide on-site inventory control and management of all SERCO assets.
+ Provide on-site tools management.
+ Provide on-site hazardous material inventory, control and overall management.
+ Provide on-site flammable storage inventory and control of all flammable materials and liquids.
+ Assist the SERCO travel office with housing arrangements for arriving workforce personnel, to include meal card distribution, room preparation prior to arrival, and return flight coordination.

SELECTION PROCESS
The City of Napa utilizes a Civil Service Selection System founded on merit. Such a system is competitive and based on broad outreach efforts and equal opportunity for qualified applicants to take part in a process designed to determine the qualifications, fitness and ability of competitors to perform duties of the vacant position. Many of our recruitments are targeted and specific to the needs of a current vacant position, in which case, an eligible list may be exclusively used for that current vacant position. Other recruitments and eligible lists may be more broadly used for both current and future vacancies, or for other alternate jobs with comparable scopes of work.
Candidates who have participated in a testing process for a recruitment are not eligible to re-take the same test within six (6) months.
What happens next?
* We will review your application and all supplemental materials to select the best qualified applicants to continue in the selection process. Application appraisal includes a review of qualifications, education, training, and experience related to the job, as well as supplemental questions if applicable.
* Applicants moving forward in the selection process may be asked to participate in any combination of the following (at any phase of the selection process): online assessment, written examination, job-related exercise, phone interview, and panel interview. These testing steps may be conducted on a pass/fail basis, and/or percentage-based scoring methodology.
* Based on the City Charter, the final phase of the selection process is the Probationary Period, which in most cases is six (6) months but may be twelve (12) months depending on the classification.
* When three or fewer candidates are available, the testing procedures outlined in the Job Announcement may be waived by the Human Resources Department.

Role Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Warehouse Manager to oversee the operations of our Hayward Californiawarehouse facility. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound freight, leading a team of warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, and maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and ethics. Key Responsibilities

Process Standardization: Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance across all warehouse activities.
Equipment and Technology
Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring proper maintenance and certifications are up to date.
Technology Utilization: Leverage warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory tracking software, and other technologies to optimize operations, track performance metrics, and generate reports.

Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of warehouse management experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role. Experience with inbound/outbound freight and ISO compliance is essential.
Certifications: Forklift certification required. Additional certifications in warehouse management, safety (e.g., OSHA), or ISO standards are a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
