LOCATION AND SCHEDULE Camp Pendleton - On-Site Monday-Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (can vary based on store) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Will be involved in warehouse operations which includes receipting for material or moving material to retail floor and warehouse. Pack and Inspect Orders that have been filled and completed, verify stock count and accuracy and produce Packing Slip, correct any and all order errors, produce MSDS sheets and any other internal document required by customer, sign off on Quality Review and move order on to shipping station. Conduct regular product warehouse inventories. Participate in area maintenance to include cleaning floors, work tables and stations, distribution office, repack areas, receiving areas and staging areas. Perform preventative maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment to include ensuring fork lifts are connected to electrical recharges on a daily basis. Communication with customers, base supply managers and other employees. QUALIFICATIONS High School Graduate, with two years relevant training. Through working knowledge of Warehouse operations. Material Inventory Specialist-PSO The Material Inventory Specialist (MIS) role is responsible for receiving, verifying, counting, sorting, putting-away, and pulling material in support of production operations at various Solar facilities. Additionally, the role also performs all related data input requirements necessary to comply with inventory record accuracy requirements. The MIS also utilizes heavy equipment such reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and overhead cranes. The MIS must be able to perform any function of the (40240) Material Mover. Job Duties * Receive, verify, sort, store, issue, stage, palletize, move, dispatch and ship materials, parts, tools, assemblies in and out of Solar warehouse locations and facilities as assigned. * Typical materials, inventory and warehousing transactions performed and recorded include: pick and pack product or materials, quality check of outbound and inbound orders for accuracy, process parts for shipping, process returns, conduct daily physical cycle counts as directed, replenish stock from back-up locations, set up of new locations, receiving and put-away functions, process warehouse to warehouse transfers. * Perform all related data input requirements necessary to comply with inventory records accuracy requirements as required. * Determine the sequence of physical movement of material to meet schedule requirements and perform related recording of each warehousing transaction in a timely fashion per established warehouse/inventory records accuracy requirements. * Take necessary action to identify, trace and reconcile inventory errors and prevent and/or cure shortages, delays or inaccurate inventory data. As required, update or correct information system records and provide data to cognizant departments or individuals. * Utilize warehouse/inventory management information systems and equipment and related RF and barcode technology as required. * Obtain and maintain warehouse/inventory information system training and certifications as required. * Operate any material moving equipment, including two-axle trucks, to physically move materials, parts, tooling and assemblies to and from assigned locations. * Obtain necessary licenses and permits as required. * Plan and execute the methods necessary for loading and unloading all types of vehicles used in the transportation of receiving, warehousing and shipping materials. * Perform all the associated duties necessary to maintain the shipping, receiving and warehousing areas throughout Solar. Perform housekeeping duties and maintain a safe and clean working environment. Minimum Qualifications * High school diploma, GED or equivalent * A valid agency issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record (this includes no moving violations within the last 12 months, no "2 point" violations within the last 3 years, and no DUI's within the last 7 years) * Working computer knowledge and strong attention to detail * Must be able to frequently lift and carry boxes weighing up to 10-25 pounds * Must be able to work at heights of up to 20 feet from the floor * Capable of operating a two-axle truck * Availability to work any shift Preferred Qualifications * Previous warehouse experience * Familiarity with Inventory Record system(s) * Experience with BaaN system * Good problem-solving skills * Excellent interpersonal skills Compensation & Benefits Base rate for this role ranges from $20.00, to $29.67. Actual rate will be based on experience. Escalates issues to management Receive and distribute raw materials throughout organization. Stack and palletize finished product and prepare for storage. Use a forklift to move materials and finished products. Shuttle packaging between warehouses utilizing company truck. Unload packaging materials from pallets. Load finished products onto pallets. Maintain cleanliness of primary and secondary warehouses. Adhere to all safety precautions, rules and guidelines. Performing duties of Production team member when needed.
