The Warehouse Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations by organizing inventory, coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting overall logistics. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Warehouse Coordinators may also need to operate vehicles like trailers, forklifts, or other machinery designed to aid in the transport of heavy materials. A Warehouse Worker may also be responsible for disposing of a variety of leftover packing materials or hazardous waste in a safe and appropriate manner.

Responsibilities
Operate mechanical lift, forklift or vehicles
Load and unload materials
Take inventory of materials shipped or received
Store, count, weigh, and open materials received
Load and unload trucks and other vehicles for transporting goods
Fill warehouse orders
Label boxes to identify materials
Dispose of leftover packing materials such as wooden crates, pallets, and cardboard
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Working knowledge of general access control systems. Lenel and Genetec knowledge is preferred.
Thorough understanding of electronic security systems, their individual parts, and the onsite labor necessary to complete an installation.
Skills/experience using Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
Ability to be creative and resourceful in obtaining solutions to uncommon applications.
Ability to effectively work independently and in a team atmosphere.
Strong organization skills, time management, and attention to detail.
Proficient verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
Customer focus and a strong commitment to client satisfaction.
Physical/Electronic Security Experience 5-7 Years
Technical Skills:
Excellent organizational skills
Awareness of Public Safety and Security measures in place to prevent injuries
Ability to use computer technology to make labels, track inventory, and keep a record of storage

What You'll Do:

POSITION SUMMARY
The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for operating MHEs for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting. Computer data entry is required for receipts, shipments, and inventory maintenance. This role is responsible for maintaining the flow of materials throughout the manufacturing process. This includes the picking and putting away of materials required to meet internal production needs. Other responsibilities will include staging parts for transfer shipments between Getman facilities and providing general support for other warehouse duties. This role also participates in and supports improvement initiatives and projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Route items from the receiving area to the proper location within the warehouse
Move work-in-progress parts through production operations utilizing material handling equipment when needed, including forklifts and cranes
Electronically enter all part transactions into ERP system (Epicor)
Replenish point-of-use inventory locations as needed
Bail all used cardboard from bailer
Perform daily equipment safety inspections
Dependable, stays productive and conducts work in a thorough and accurate manner
Collaboratively works with Warehouse team and across other departments
Efficiently completes tasks as assigned and/or as directed by a supervisor
Flexible in performing other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Zero to three years related experience and/or training
Must possess overhead crane license or willing to obtain an overhead crane license within 60 days from hire date
Skills, Talents and/or Characteristics
Powered industrial truck license - training and certification will be provided
Overhead crane certification - training and certification will be provided
Strong attention to detail
Basic ERP and computer skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure
Basic knowledge of production, shipping and receiving paperwork
Ability to move from task to task with ease
Willingness to support other team members when needed
