The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for picking orders, palletizing, loading and unloading products and/or cases. The Warehouse Coordinator works within areas of temperature changes from freezer -10°F , cooler 37°F, and dry warm storage areas 78°F+ for extended periods. Entrances may be open and work conditions during the summer months can be very hot, and during the winter very cold. Employee may be going in and out of freezers and coolers with extreme variations in temperature. Workspace could be very dusty, and on occasions can be noisy due to the traffic of motorized vehicles operated in the building. Periodically may work outside and be exposed to the elements. Employee may be exposed to spoiled food and sharp objects due to working with damaged product. Work involves moving boxes and employee must lift, bend, stoop, pick up and move objects up to 75 pounds. Work involves using manual pallet jacks and therefore requires an ability to push and pull pallets over 2,000 pounds. May work evenings and weekends due to special events and other projects related to timely and accurate warehousing and distribution of product. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for the inventory of all vehicles at the facility within company timelines. Through the use of company provided tools, the Inventory Specialist will document vehicle condition within company standards which includes a complete inventory and supporting photographs of each vehicle. In addition, by using a system of priorities, the Inventory Specialist will be responsible for directing the flow of traffic in the receiving area to ensure timely processing of vehicle inventory. Finally, through a thorough understanding of Copart policy, the Inventory Specialist will be responsible for facilitating the Copart experience by offering solutions to meet customer's needs. * Monitor, maintain and organize the receiving area. * Operate camera and utilize a handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles. * Determine operational capability of motor vehicles Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles. * Maintain inventory of all materials used. * Compliance to company policies and procedures Compliance to safety requirements. * Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Experience: * Must be 18 years or older * Ability to work outdoors in all seasons * General automotive knowledge/mechanical aptitude preferred * Basic computer proficiency, with the ability to operate handheld devices preferred * Strong attention to detail * Ability to work in a team environment * Driver's license preferred * Bilingual skill a plus.
