Job description: Drone Pilot / UAS Inspector Company Information: Our client is a multi-disciplined international inspection and engineering consulting firm capable of providing a full range of inspection and engineering services for projects of all types. Position Description: As a Drone Pilot / UAS Inspector, you will be working within the heavy industrial manufacturing sector. Our clients depend on us to perform inspections on their assets to report deficiencies using unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and traditional inspection methods when required. Assets we perform inspections on consist of overhead cranes, crane runways, building inspections including columns and roof trusses, walking and working surfaces, concrete structures, stacks, conveyors, silos, towers, and other miscellaneous structures found within heavy manufacturing facilities. You will be inspecting these types of structures looking for deficiencies through high-resolution imagery and visual observation. Once deficiencies are identified, you will document findings along with digital imagery taken by the drone or video recordings. Upon completion of the field inspection, the information will be input into an internal database and assembled into a report format which will be reviewed by an engineer and then submitted to the client. When not performing drone operations, the candidate will assist as a structural field inspector performing inspections from ground level, manlifts, or other approved access methods as required. Requirements: FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate required 2-5 years' experience operating drones in an industrial inspection, construction, or manufacturing environment Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
