Job Summary: Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products by performing the following duties:
Key Responsibilities:
* Unload containers with freight and finished goods.
* Inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy and damage, sort, label, and store items in designated locations.
* Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for pickup or shipment.
* Perform regular cycle counts and audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
* Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment, conducting routine maintenance checks. (Forklift certified/or can be trained to be certified)
* Uses computer and bar codes reader to scan materials in and out of inventory and create shipping documents.
* Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards, reporting any maintenance or safety issues to supervisor.
* Have valid US issues driver's license.
* Follow company policies and guidelines, participating in training programs to promote a safe work environment.
* Have basic knowledge of all aspects of warehousing, receiving, shipping and inventory control.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Acquires knowledge of LFS's Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.
* Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety training.
* Performs other similar or related duties as assigned. This is a small location with limited staff; you will be cross trained in multiple areas.
This is a full time year round position that includes housing.
Minimum Requirements
Required Qualifications (education, years of experience, KSAs):
Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Must be forklift certified; or able to become forklift certified.
Must have valid US issued Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years previous experience working in warehouse.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Qualifications
Job Requirements

Job Conditions
