Manage brush sites, including checking residents in and out, and opening and closing of the entrances. Also, performs general cleanup, maintenance and unskilled labor tasks at the paint shop, transfer station or landfill as directed by supervisor. This position will be required to work shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime as needed by the department, and during inclement weather. This position is considered weather essential personnel.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
* Picks up plastic bags and debris from curb and places them in rear of truck.
* Directs driver in backing and unloading of trucks on route and transfer station.
* Assists in loading brush truck, either by stacking brush and debris in truck or operating of chipper.
* Helps in cleaning of truck - interior and exterior.
* Helps in cleanup and maintenance operations at the transfer station, paint shop and landfill.
