PROCESSOR * Shapes, stacks, and rolls cheese filled lasagna rolls or sandwiches as they're conveyed to freezer. * Mix and blend powder and granular ingredients for dry mixes. * Mix batches of dough for processing lines. * Assist with daily utensils, equipment, and line sanitation. PACKER * Packers are to ensure the right product is in the right bag and final shipping container. * Sorts, stacks, orientates product to properly fit in finished case. * Fills and weighs frozen pasta pieces to appropriate case or tote weight in accordance with customer requirements. * Ensure all packages are properly coded before packing. * Assist with daily utensils, equipment, and line sanitation. PALLETIZER * Check pallets to ensure they are in good condition for loading product on. * Verify all codes on boxes as complete, accurate, and legible with the line, shift, lot code and product code. * Stack boxes on pallet using correct configuration for the product running. * Obtain powered pallet truck qualification. About the role This position provides flexible support to warehouse operations, with primary responsibility for operating a route truck up to three days per week, to complete deliveries. On non-driving days, this role supports warehouse functions including tire mounting, cycle counts, and shipping/receiving. Part-time Description The Packaging and Warehouse Assistants position is utilized by the location to fulfill multiple roles throughout a season as it relates to seed corn production. Tasks include seed packaging, warehousing and other general job tasks. This position can include shift work and weekends during critical times if necessary. The individual must be able to work together with others, yet when asked have the ability to complete tasks on their own time. Operating a forklift will be a major component of the seasonal role. Seasonal positions are available now until March / April and could turn into a full-time job.
