POSITION SUMMARY: Uses the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to pick orders, load trucks, and receive finished goods from Production departments. Also performs physical counts to ensure the accuracy of inventory. Uses the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to receive supplies, raw materials and goods, which are used in the manufacturing of products. To pull and supply production with necessary ingredients needed to produce finished goods ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Loads and/or unloads trucks: LTL and full loads of finished product and/or Raw Materials. Performs material handling, forklift operation, loading trucks, & pulling orders by following company policies and procedures. Uses the WMS to pick orders and/or transfer product. Performs physical and logical cycle counts as directed. Receives RMA's (returns from customers). Picks and stages transfer to be shipped to outside storage facilities. Properly completes inspections of trailers and completes BOL. Responsible to do safety checklist and charge forklift pursuant to department procedures. May use hand-held electronic inventory devices or forklift mounted devices to track, code, or mark merchandise. Receives finished goods from Production department for each shift. Reports any food safety or quality problems to personnel with the authority to initiate action. May use sit-down or stand-up forklift or electric pallet jack in the storage or movement of received stock, equipment, or ingredients. COMPETENCIES: To perform this job successfully, Forklift Operator must be self-motivated, able to problem solve, detail-oriented, and able to stay on task.
