Check and determine proper material storage area, primarily consisting of line flow parts staging areas and production point of use locations. Coordinates and monitors material availability to support product workflow, assisting in scheduling and prioritizing activities in assigned area. Expedite material as needed to ensure smooth material flow. Performs physical and/or cycle counts on material and investigates inconsistencies. Draws attention to important items and actual or potential problems and assist in developing solutions. Checks for work correctness and ensure proper records are maintained. Understands and performs all job duties in accordance with the appropriate operating procedures/instruction relative to all environmental/safety requirements and regulations governing the work area within an individual's classification.
