The Truck Loader is responsible for supporting and coordinating the second shift logistics operations to ensure orders are selected and loaded properly, taking pictures, utilizing NetSuite to Fulfil Orders and confirming all required paperwork is on the truck for the driver to ensure on time deliveries.
Duties & Responsibilities
Main Activities:
Use NetSuite to print, verify and fulfill orders daily
Set and adhere to a plan to lead the Dispatch team for on time load deliveries
Meet with Production at cross shift every day to discuss the workload and schedule
Review loads that are ready for delivery and take pictures
Ensure picking process is executing according to the SOP for consistency and accuracy
Verifying the accuracy of the picking and QA process, signing off on necessary paperwork when load is completed and making sure paperwork is in proper order for the Logistics Scheduler
Understand and maintain confidentiality relating to all business activities, especially relating to manufacturing details and customer/ supplier details. Insure employees are doing the same.
Train new staff to make sure processes are upheld and adhered to
Work closely to provide Logistics Manager with feedback regarding team members performance on second shift, managing and supporting any performance concerns as needed
Performs other related duties as assigned by Logistics Manager

Safety Inspections: Conducting vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Route and Stops Management: Navigating routes using GPS, Geotab and other technology provided by the company.
Paperwork: Completing necessary paperwork related to deliveries or driving.
Communication: Report any issues or incidents immediately to dispatch. Develop strong relationships that create trust with our customers.
Safety and Compliance:
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Wear appropriate PPE (gloves, safety glasses) as required on all customer sites.
Work Area Safety: Maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:
Experience:
Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
Good organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift heavy objects
Current forklift license preferred, ability to drive a forklift required
Previous experience in warehouse, or other related field strongly preferred
Previous experience as a Box Truck Driver
Testing: Pre-employment DOT physical

This role is based in the State of New York which requires the disclosure of salary ranges. The expected salary range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00 per hour.
