Stock Associate (P/T) The Stock Associate is responsible for verifying merchandise receipts, deliveries, and placement of merchandise in the stockroom. Responsibilities Maintain a passion for both the product and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Process and replenish merchandise as needed, receive and monitor floor stock, and handle product movement in and out of the store. Ensure accurate and efficient stockroom operations, especially during peak hours. Loads, unloads trucks with different types of pipes such as casing, tubing, line pipe, and plate of different grades and wall thickness. Keep record of receiving and shipping of materials by quantity, and product. Verifies area where loading and unloading occurs is clear of obstructions, to include equipment and people. Inspects forklift on a daily basis to ensure maintenance is up to date, there is no damage, and no issues that require immediate attention. Performs daily counts of inventory i.e. finished goods; spot checks racks periodically on a weekly basis making sure raw goods are available for the finished goods. Performs monthly building inspections on circuit outlets, fire extinguishers, eye wash station. Reports found problems to direct supervisor for resolution. Other duties may be assigned. In this critical role, you will work on production lines to sort incoming greenhouse grown product: peppers, tomatoes and cucumbers; ensuring that all product meets the required specifications for our customers.
