The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. A variety of products from 20# bags of cat food to large livestock equipment will be loaded by hand, wheeler, or forklift. You are constantly walking and reaching for products. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts. The general nature to the job is one in which you go in and out of the warehouse so one is exposed to the weather a lot. Dust from the parking area and products are in the air and can aggravate allergies. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places. Agricultural chemicals are sold through our Agri-Center, and it will be necessary to handle these containers when loading customers or unloading new shipments. These products are safe when handled properly. Mild vibration may be experienced when driving a forklift.
