As a Warehouse Worker / Counter Sales Representative, you'll be the welcoming face of our San Rafael branch, providing outstanding service to our customers. Your role will involve: Promptly and courteously assisting customers with their needs. Sharing your plumbing and product expertise to guide customers in making informed purchases. Building lasting relationships through exceptional service and product knowledge. Responsibilities Accurately and timely fill customer orders. Check in and put away material, verifying the quantity and quality of received material. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, clear aisles and walkways. Accurately and safely load & unload customer vehicles as needed. Accurate and timely performance cycle counts as required. Participate in ongoing education and training as required. Continuously update product knowledge through any available resources in order to provide assistance at the counter. Stay informed and educated as to product inventory and accessibility. Know the location of merchandise in the warehouse. Conduct sales efforts in an ethical and professional manner. Entering of customer orders, branch transfers, obtaining quotation information, inventory information, pricing. Follow-up on customer orders, resolve problems for the customer's satisfaction, respond customers quickly. Provide product/job quotes as appropriate. Effectively communicate to customers any relevant policies and/or procedures regarding purchases, returns, credit terms, etc. Assist in maintaining the appearance of branches as needed, straightening, cleaning the counter area, warehouse, bathrooms, etc. Report back orders and/or material discrepancies. Perform all duties in a safe manner, following all safety rules. Inform the manager of any potentially hazardous conditions. Assist in year-end physical inventory. Qualifications Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify. High school diploma/GED or equivalent education required. Basic knowledge of products in Warehouse, Plumbing, Retail/Customer Service Environments required. Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency. Ability to input, retrieve, and analyze data. Ability to recognize and read location, date, and product codes. General math skills to allow for cash accounting. An ability to learn is a must-have! Excellent decision-making and communication skills. Capable of multitasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills. Comply with all health and safety protocols, especially against COVID-19. Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure routine vehicle maintenance which include daily inspection and pumping gas as necessary. Ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle, both its interior and exterior, to uphold a polished and professional image. Administrative: Maintain vehicle usage logs and maintenance. Maintain accurate vehicle documentation with guidelines established by HealthRIGHT 360 to satisfy internal and external evaluating requirements. Attend and participate in meetings. Complete all assigned training in a timely manner. QUALIFICATIONS Education, Certification, and Experience Valid California Class C Driver's license. Ability to clear and maintain agency vehicle insurance coverage. Professional driving experience. Ability to drive a 22-foot truck. Ability to lift 60 pounds. Knowledge Clear understanding of appropriate staff/client boundaries. Knowledge of transportation equipment for physically disabled. Knowledge of vehicle safety and maintenance.
