+ Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming shipment. Record the correct count and pallet type for input upon completion of the PO. + Record shipment data into computer system, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and record-keeping purposes. Maintain accurate counts on inbound freight to insure appropriate warehouse storage availability.
+ Assist with maintaining an accurate inventory through cycle/directed counting. Research customer service issues including, but not limited to shortages, overages and damages and recommend appropriate response.
+ Monitor warehouse management system for open invoices.
+ Support the even flow from receiving to shipping and communicate issues and concerns. Identify and monitor high volume and high dollar items during shipping process.
+ Label all pallets to be stocked and verify accuracy of inbound freight received by comparing the purchase order with the bill of lading. Record discrepancies on bill of lading and inform clerk and/or appropriate management of damage and inventory shortages
+ Set up items and slots to ensure maximum efficiency for shipping and receiving. Recognize potential inventory hazards including, but not limited to storage of raw or over cooked product..
+ Operate current warehouse management system. Utilize necessary technology (e.g., voice, RF gun) to select product.
+ Audit pick/reserve slots and keep rotation of product accurate, as needed.
+ Verify absence of rodent/pest activity in all inbound shipments and document any record of activity
+ Perform all other daily/weekly/monthly tasks, not specifically mentioned herein, as described in the inventory control SOP program.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Warehouse Associate II - receiving associate (Truck Unloader) at S&S Activewear is responsible for multiple tasks throughout the warehouse. They are responsible for maintaining an organized workstation to assist with streamlining of products to their final destinations within our Automated system. They may assist with training of new hires, delivering and receiving product from the conveyor systems; interfacing with customers; processing of received goods; replenishing product within our automated picking system; fulfilling customer orders; reviewing and packing the orders to verify accuracy and ensure that the product is up to shipping standards.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Operate all material handling equipment needed to perform primary role (order picker cart).
* Perform and complete daily safety inspections check list for all equipment used.
* Effectively utilize/operate and navigate the data collection equipment used in the department (RF Scanners, Tablets, etc.)
* Perform discrepancy counts, recounts and user created cycle counts as assigned and directed.
* Unload/Load Trailers
* Provide assistance support to all other functions within the department such as Case Pick, Restock, transfer, pulling, staging and checking.

What You'll Do
The WarehouseWorker will increase operational efficiency, company profitability, and customer satisfaction by accurately loading trucks with customer orders to be delivered next day.
Load trucks according to manifests provided
Ensure accuracy of products loaded on trucks
Work as a team to load trucks in a timely manner
Report any quality or inventory discrepancy issues to appropriate personnel
Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required
Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns to appropriate personnel
Assist in keeping facility clean, neat, safe, and operating efficiently
Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards
Willing to work some overtime when needed
Other duties as assigned
Required for Success
One year previous warehouse experience
Minimum 6 months successful forklift and pallet jack experience
Ability to read and operate hand-held RF scan device and use Warehouse Management System
Ability to count accurately on a repetitive basis
Ability to operate a fork lift and pallet jack
Physically able to lift, carry, move etc. products up to 75 pounds regularly and heavier items occasionally
Ability to communicate successfully with leads, supervisors, coworkers and customers as required
Self-motivated and willing to work with others
Be detail-oriented and able to work independently
Able to perform in a fast-paced environment

ABOUT THE ROLE
Maintenance Team Members are responsible for performing general basic maintenance duties. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to watering batteries, swapping batteries to forklifts, keep preventative maintenance records. Routinely must check items such as hydraulic fluid levels, vehicle batteries, and tire condition, general conditions of machines, drive control, steering and brakes. Maintenance team member and all S&S Activewear employees must adhere to the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear employee handbook.
COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE
$19.57 hourly
Monday-Friday (two shifts available), Full-Time, Non-Exempt
* AM Shift: 9am - 5:30pm
* PM Shift: 2pm - 10:30pm

WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Show up on time every day, ready to work with a positive attitude.
* Safely operate all warehouse equipment
* Follow all safety procedures in place
* Follow the preventive battery maintenance/watering schedule
* Notice and report any abnormal conditions/failures in the batteries
* Take required corrective and preventive action to prevent battery damage
* Perform machinery and basic equipment examinations as required
* Perform truck battery swapping when required
* Comply with all safety requirements and proper use of (PPE) Personal Protective Equipment
* Complete all required safety training
* Track activities in maintenance logs in the WMS
* Follow directions of Supervisors and Managers
* Stay busy
* Maintain a safe and clean warehouse
* Perform other activities as assigned
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
* 6 months experience in a similar maintenance position
* Some understanding of mechanical and electrical maintenance
* Ability to read and speak English
* Have the physical strength and dexterity to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
* Ability to follow detailed instructions
* Able to work overtime if required
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Perform general cleaning duties related with the position

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching and handling of items up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision and hearing are required for the operation of warehouse machinery.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool. The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise. Employee must be able to work in a high-volume, high-demand environment while meeting strenuous customer deadlines. Employee must be able to change priorities or job duties as needed and interact with employees at all levels.
