Uses hand/pallet/fork truck to move material into, around and out of the facility. Loads/unloads trucks and moves accepted incoming materials into the proper storage location. Prepares and verifies all associated documentation required to receive or ship material to include: but not limited to, verifying quantities, weights, and product identification. Maintains a neat and orderly work area, keeping walkways and aisles clear. Performs general housekeeping duties such as sweeping and trash removal. Perform inventory cycle counting and participate in annual and semiannual physical inventories. In performing assigned duties frequently, lifts/moves up to and including 50 lbs. Standing, walking, bending, crouching, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and climbing are all required motions of the job. Also performs material handling functions. When work in primary classification is not available, will perform other work according to skill and availability, to include periodic inventory cycle counts and annual physical inventory.

The Value Added Service Laborer is responsible for scraping, sweeping, and mopping the floors of food, beverage, and meat processing plants operated by our customers, ensuring they meet the quality control and bacterial standards set by the customer and relevant governmental agencies. Maintains material handling equipment, including electric trucks and fork trucks, by completing pre-use inspections to ensure good operating condition. Notifies Team Lead or Supervisor of any maintenance needs.
Operates tablet, computer, scanner and material handling equipment including forklifts (sit-down, Drexel, stand-up, reach, turret, order-picker), pallet jacks, stepladders and other equipment to reach material. May use crowbar and mallet for crates.
Carries out proper verification methods as part of the cycle count program.
Frequently moves average weight materials as necessary in the performance of the job or as directed.
Detects and reports improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to Team Lead and/or Supervisor.
Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Follows prescribed safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications
Required:

SUMMARY

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Warehouse typically operates seven days per week to support the Agency retail operation. May be required to work weekend (i.e. Saturday, Sunday), evening and holiday hours.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Drive truck with gross vehicle weight under 26,001 lbs. to transport contract materials, finished goods,merchandise, etc., to and from specified destination; perform those services for retail operations whichwill include inter-state travel.
Operate mobile phone ( not while driving) and maintain regular communication with Warehouse Coordinator as to location, destination, other required business or emergencies.
Verify truckloads against shipping memos and packing lists, as appropriate.
Contact supervisor for decision in questionable cases.
Pad, stack and secure transportable goods in position to prevent damage and safety hazards.
Load and/or unload goods; may be assisted by a helper when loading or unloading.
Obtain truck helper's assistance in exiting the truck and follow his/her directions when backing up.
Insure that truck is maintained in a safe and properly working condition; check oil, water and fuel levels, tires, lights and brakes on a daily basis…at least twice a day…Pre and Post Trip Inspections.
Complete post trip inspection form, and report vehicle status or mechanical problems to Warehouse Coordinator for scheduling of repairs and regular maintenance.
Report driving accidents, incidents or traffic violations to supervisor immediately, and complete required reports of the same.
Perform emergency roadside repairs as well as minor repairs and general maintenance (e.g. maintaining overall cleanliness of inside/outside of truck, topping off all fluids to proper levels, replacing windshield wiper blades, and lighting bulbs) to truck as required/needed.
Safely remove snow and ice from entire vehicle when required/needed.
Obtain safety, first aid or other relevant in-service training as required by supervisor.
Perform other essential duties when truck is not available or when duties are completed, as directed by supervisor.
Responsible for the movement of materials for the plant, in-house or at other sites, to include loading and unloading of trucks, movement of raw materials and completed shipments to and from sites, house call pickups, and storage of goods.
Dispose of waste materials in and around job sites.
Follow verbal instructions or read work orders to determine materials and containers to be moved.
Load materials into and from vehicles, install strapping, bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit, assisting truck driver.
Convey materials to and/or from storage or work sites to designated areas using hand truck and tow motor.
Participate in training regarding proper and safe operation of hand truck and tow motor.
Occasionally count, weigh and/or record number of units of material moved or handled.
Assist in preparation of all shipping documentation for materials being shipped from premises.
Lift heavy objects by hand.
Maintain clean work area, machines and/or equipment.
Responsible for operation of baler equipment including but not limited to pricing, inventory control, etc.
Will notify supervisor in the event of problems with equipment.
Remove snow/ice from sidewalks at main office and at other locations as necessary to ensure safe environments.
Perform other related essential duties as required or assigned by supervisor.

The Opportunity
Encore is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Team Lead to supervise and develop a team of Collections Specialists in a high-volume, multi-location environment. This role is hands-on: you will coach collectors day-to-day, remove roadblocks, and help drive consistent execution that improves cash collection, reduces DSO, and delivers excellent customer experience.
You will be the go-to resource for work procedures, escalations, and training-helping standardize how we manage disputes, customer outreach, and workflow through Esker. This position is ideal for a leader who has worked in larger organizations and enjoys driving change in a fast-growing company undergoing transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coach a team of Collections Specialists (daily prioritization, performance management, training, and development).
Provide daily guidance on work procedures, technical issues, prioritization, and customer interactions; set clear expectations and remove blockers.
Assess training needs and develop/maintain training materials, job aids, and playbooks; ensure team members are equipped for their roles and cross-trained where appropriate.
Serve as an escalation point for business units on high-impact issues affecting payment (billing errors, disputes, customer service breakdowns) and drive timely resolution.
Drive consistent collections execution across assigned portfolios, using data-driven strategies that reduce DSO and minimize bad debt while preserving customer relationships.
Leverage Esker to manage workflows (dunning, dispute tracking, activity logging, approvals/escalations) and ensure the team consistently uses the tool as the system-of-record.
Own and improve dispute resolution processes in partnership with Billing, and Sales-establish clear ownership, aging visibility, and escalation paths.
Monitor team KPIs (e.g., DSO, % current, promise-to-pay accuracy, disputes opened/closed, contact attempts, collector productivity) and communicate results to leadership.
Review and approve collection strategies for high-risk accounts; manage escalations and support negotiation of payment plans when needed.
Support month-end close activities related to AR (aging review, reserves input, unapplied cash/credit balances, write-off packages, and reporting).
Identify and implement process improvements to scale the AR function during periods of growth and acquisition integration (standardization, documentation, controls, and training).
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders on transformation initiatives (systems/process changes, customer master data quality, billing accuracy, and customer onboarding).
Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and customer-specific billing/collections requirements.
What You Bring to the Table
Four+ years of progressive AR/collections experience in a high-volume B2B environment, including experience with large or complex organizations with revenues >$500 million.
Two+ years of direct supervisory experience (required), including hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance feedback, and accountability for results.
Firsthand experience with Esker (required) or strong experience with comparable AR automation/workflow platforms (e.g., HighRadius, Sidetrade, Billtrust).
Demonstrated ability to lead through change in a transformation environment (process redesign, scaling Encore, standardization across multiple locations/entities).
Experience in field services, construction services, fire protection, or other project-based billing environments.
Experience supporting multi-entity / multi-location Encore and M&A integrations related to AR.
Experience with ERP/accounting systems and integrations that touch AR (e.g., Sage 300 CRE, Oracle, NetSuite or similar).
Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
