Conduct global research studies end-to-end including identifying research needs, setting objectives and metrics, determining methods, managing research vendors, coordinating prototype delivery with design, recruiting plan, study session guide, study moderation, survey programming, data analysis, and reporting, and workshops to apply the insights to product decisions and design solutions. Hands-on project management of user research studies including project communication, vendor selection and contract management, software tool coordination, cost estimation and forecasting resources, timelines and deliverable schedule, prototype security measures, coordinating recruitment, and lab facility needs. Transform complex data into high-quality, actionable insights that inform decision-making across all organizational levels-balancing analytical rigor with the agility for timely execution. Grow the UXR team's global expertise and value to the business; explore new ways to discover user insights, experiment with the latest research methods, stay abreast of customer trends, industry competitive offerings and emerging tech to identify and develop novel solutions. Qualifications At least 8+ years of progressively complex practical work experience in a UX Researcher role on a global product development team or consulting group AND 5+ years leading strategic product research, presenting quantitative and qualitative insights to business decision-makers, and working with product and design teams to apply the findings. Graduate degree in Engineering Human Factors, Engineering Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, or similar, with formal training in usability testing and advanced statistical analysis. Practical experience conducting consumer market research and usability testing for ecommerce experiences, specializing in high-stakes transactional flows such as purchase paths, payment systems, cancellations, and subscription management. Deeply credentialed in qualitative research, with mastery across ethnographic studies, cognitive walkthroughs, co-creation workshops, contextual inquiries, focus groups, concept validation, and usability testing. Highly adept at global adaptation across lab-based, remote, and unmoderated formats. Expert-level proficiency in quantitative research, including the design of sophisticated customer surveys and application of advanced statistical modeling-such as cluster analysis, regression, and conjoint analysis-to drive data-backed innovation and strategic decision-making. Demonstrates strategic agility and a growth mindset, thriving in dynamic environments by applying strong listening, analytical, and organizational skills to clarify ambiguity, solve complex problems, and drive impactful decision-making. Strong business acumen, client-management, and communication skills with the ability to adapt research approach and communication to a variety of individual and team working styles. Preferred Qualifications Use of automation and AI to streamline routine research tasks while maintaining data integrity and ethical standards necessary to produce the highest quality insights. Job Description The Senior Mechanical Engineer provides engineering support for existing and new theme park attractions (rides and shows). Duties include complex downtime investigation and troubleshooting of ongoing issues, reverse engineering and redesign, and other engineering tasks as required to ensure daily operational readiness of attractions. Additional duties include complex re-design and development efforts for mechanical / structural systems of theme park rides and attractions to provide increased reliability and operational improvements. Development of some projects will require basic management of outsourcing services, third party consulting, contracts, and scheduling of work. All work shall be in conformance with ASTM F24 Committee guidelines and compliant with applicable codes, regulations and standards including: AISC, ASME, ASTM, ANSI, AWS, JIC, NEC, and OSHA, among others. This role has exposure to multiple different ride and show systems spanning multiple decades, each with its unique fun and challenges. This role has a 5-day workweek onsite. Offsite work may be allowed with prior approval from the Engineering Manager. The role may include additional nights and/or "weekends" only when necessary. Responsibilities * Responds to day-to-day sustaining engineering calls and troubleshoots recurring design or maintenance issues. * Performs re-engineering efforts for Attractions including complex mechanical, structural, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. * Produces scope of work for capital design projects and manages progress from design through installation. * Develops and oversees project schedules and budgetary demands. * Monitors and interfaces with vendors/design-builders to resolve problems and design issues. * Prepares and reviews equipment specifications and performs technical evaluation of vendor products/services. * Oversees mock-up, prototype, installations, test and adjustments of show and ride systems. * Coordinates engineering activities between vendors, engineers, ride and show management, and technicians. * Provides project status updates on assigned task list items to the appropriate ride manager and engineering manager. * Interfaces between Central Shops and the Mechanical Engineering group to address their engineering needs. * Helps improve existing engineering procedures and develops new procedures as needed. * Acts as mentor for associate level engineers. * Maintains configuration management of project documentation in accordance with Engineering's guidelines. * Develops and conducts Acceptance Test Procedures on mechanical systems. Reviews other engineer's ATPs. * Partners with Universal Creative in the development of new Attractions. Your New Role: The Remote A2 (Audio Assist) is the extension of the A1 and the main audio point of contact when the A1 is not at site. They will work closely with the show Audio Engineer (A1) to determine the technical audio needs of a remote production. The Remote A2 will be capable of providing accurate and precise real-time information or feedback to the Audio Engineer (A1) to resolve any issues during a production. Job Description The NBC Local division is charged with creating valuable and engaging content across multiple platforms (broadcast, online, mobile, and emerging digital platforms) for local audiences in 10 NBC and 24 Telemundo markets and for 3 Regional Sports Networks. The local websites, mobile products and social media platforms cover essential local news, national news, entertainment and features of high audience interest. Our central digital news desk provides national news, assistance with local news, and product and technical guidance to the local markets, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We are looking for a highly motivated and creative multiplatform editor who speaks and writes in both English and Spanish fluently. This person will write, edit, publish and curate digital content of national interest for our digital platforms during the overnight shift. The multiplatform editor will be part of a team of national producers that works closely with digital teams at local stations. The ideal candidate is someone who possesses great people skills; can write clean, compelling and creative content; possess excellent news judgment; and is a self-starter who does well under pressure. The editor must have excellent communication skills to build relationships in remote environments as this role must actively and consistently communicate with the digital teams at the local stations. A bilingual writing test is part of the application process. Responsibilities: * Contribute original content daily of national importance to our markets' websites. * Curate national content to our sites from a variety of wire and content partner sources. * Assist local editors covering major breaking news stories. * Contribute to enterprise projects that support local news coverage. * Look for opportunities to proactively build content for upcoming events and stories. * Participate in broader strategic discussions. Qualifications Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in journalism, political science, english or equivalent experience * This position will work overnight, east coast-based hours * Ability to speak, read and write in both Spanish and English required * Experience as an editor, writer or producer at a major news organization that creates content under tight deadlines. * Must be able to write on deadline with speed and accuracy using AP Style. * Desired Characteristics: * Proven ability to successfully communicate with editors at different levels of experience. * Experience working with an online publishing tool or content management system * Possess a can-do mentality as unexpected challenges arise. * Willingness to follow very specific systems and workflow, while also exercising excellent judgment to know when additional measures are needed. * Multimedia experience and familiarity with analytics and reporting tools are desirable.
