We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Vice President, Paid Media Strategy to join Warner Music Group's Global Marketing team.
Your role:
The VP of Paid Media Strategy is responsible for setting the global vision for Warner Music Group's paid media efforts, ensuring consistent execution, innovation, and measurable impact across all priority artist campaigns.
This role oversees the strategic integration of two key pillars: the value delivered through inventory received from our global platform partnerships and the direct cash investment managed by Global Marketing. As the leader of both pillars, the VP aligns all digital investment with broader marketing and audience growth objectives, drives strategic media partnerships, and ensures world-class execution across platforms and territories.
Working closely with the leaders of Marketing Enablement and Marketing Intelligence, this role also supports the development of ROI frameworks for paid media, manages external vendor relationships, and contributes to requirements for internal tool development.
This role also provides strategic thought leadership, anticipating industry trends, emerging platforms, and shifts in consumer behavior to shape long-term paid media strategy, and acts as a thought leader internally to influence broader marketing, commercial, and product strategies.

Strategy & Vision
* Establish and develop the worldwide paid media structure that directs campaign strategizing, audience segmentation, and platform allocation in all regions.
* Collaborate with Finance and Marketing Analytics to track return on investment, improve budget allocation, and set up international media evaluation and attribution frameworks.
* Establish objectives and achievements for all paid and platform activities, including value baselines, performance benchmarks and OKR's.
* Monitor the competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and risks in digital advertising and platform partnerships.
* Design and be responsible for a hybrid in-house and offshore/nearshore structure to deliver ad operations cost-effectively and at scale.
Leadership & Team Development
* Lead, develop, and mentor senior media staff, including the Director of Platform Inventory and Paid Media Managers, ensuring alignment, innovation, and consistent execution globally.
* Be a visible, inclusive leader within WMG's global marketing community, fostering mentorship, career development, and upskilling of paid media teams while promoting a globally-minded culture.
Campaign Strategy & Integration
* Oversee the integration of paid media campaigns, including both platform-delivered value and direct GM spend, ensuring unified global impact.
* Partner with the SVP of Global Priorities to pace and manage the global paid media budget.
* Partner with Global Marketing peers (Creator, Direct-to-Fan, Playlisting) and analytics teams to ensure campaigns align with broader objectives and lifecycle strategies.
* Ensure compliance with platform policies, data privacy laws, and artist brand standards.
Partnerships & Platform Strategy:
* Build and maintain senior-level relationships with platforms (e.g., Meta, YouTube, TikTok) to drive innovation, unlock new ad formats, and enhance value delivery.
* Act as a key strategic point of contact for platform partners, finding opportunities for additional inventory, editorial features, or co-marketing initiatives.
Innovation & Optimization
* Drive adoption of new tools, technologies, and ad formats to enhance campaign effectiveness.
* Refine global media operations and workflows to ensure consistent execution while allowing for local market adaptability.
* Lead adoption of emerging ad tech (e.g., AI-driven optimization, programmatic automation, creative AI) to maintain a competitive edge.
* Collaborate with Marketing Enablement and Marketing Intelligence teams to establish value approach, lead all aspects of vendor selection, and coordinate global tool improvement.
About you:
* 10+ years in digital and paid media, including 3+ years leading senior teams and cross-functional groups across regions.
* Deep expertise in multi-channel paid media strategy (Meta, YouTube/Google, TikTok, DSPs, and emerging platforms) with strong knowledge of media buying, optimization, and performance measurement.
* Proven track record building and scaling global media operations within music, entertainment, or culturally driven consumer brands.
* Skilled at bridging high-level strategy with hands-on execution, leading both vision-setting and operational refinement.
* Experienced navigating complex matrix organizations across multiple time zones and markets.
* Global experience across multiple international regions, including the US and UK, is a plus.
* Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.

We own the technology that enables experimentation and act as subject matter experts to help teams measure the performance of the features and campaigns that customers experience every day. The Sr. Manager, Experimentation (Technical) will own the statistical frameworks and processes that power our analytics and operational solutions to support self-service insights and decisioning within the organization. * Direct experience working with 1st and/or 3rd party experimentation platforms (i.e. in-house, Optimizely, Eppo, Stat-sig, or Similar)
* Expert knowledge of experimental design, statistics and other analytical concepts (i.e., RCTs, Frequentist and Bayesian analysis)

Job Description
This position will be embedded with the Subscriber Forecasting team, part of Peacock's Advanced Content Analytics department. Peacock's Subscriber Forecasting team develops short-term and long-term views on growth of the Peacock subscriber base, leveraging first and third-party data to discern trends in signups, churn, consumption, and other growth metrics. We work with a broad set of stakeholders across the company to provide insights on the success of growth initiatives and develop long-term growth strategy for both subscribers and revenue. As the needs of the business have evolved, our team needs to perform more detailed analysis of growth metrics at a content level. This includes, but is not limited to, analysis of paid adds, churn trends, and engagement trends with an emphasis on the content preferences of relevant cohorts. This role will also generate forecast outputs and operate business forecasting models on an as-needed basis and will be responsible for understanding the scope of the team in its entirety.

Job Description
The Manager, Content Strategy will be an integral member of the team responsible for developing Peacock's holistic slate strategy across all content verticals to optimize customer acquisition, retention, and usage. The Content Strategy team works closely with stakeholders across NBCUniversal to align content strategy and execution to Peacock KPIs. The Manager position will report to the Vice President of Content Strategy and will focus primarily on film and kids programming.
Key group responsibilities include:

Peacock's Subscriber Forecasting team develops short-term and long-term views on growth of the Peacock subscriber base, leveraging first and third-party data to discern trends in signups, churn, consumption, and other growth metrics. We work with a broad set of stakeholders across the company to provide insights on the success of growth initiatives and develop long-term growth strategy for both subscribers and revenue. As the needs of the business have evolved, our team needs to perform more detailed analysis of growth metrics at a content level. This includes, but is not limited to, analysis of paid adds, churn trends, and engagement trends with an emphasis on the content preferences of relevant cohorts. + Design and be responsible for a hybrid in-house and offshore/nearshore structure to deliver ad operations cost-effectively and at scale.
Leadership & Team Development
+ Lead, develop, and mentor senior media staff, including the Director of Platform Inventory and Paid Media Managers, ensuring alignment, innovation, and consistent execution globally.
+ Be a visible, inclusive leader within WMG's global marketing community, fostering mentorship, career development, and upskilling of paid media teams while promoting a globally-minded culture.
Campaign Strategy & Integration
+ Oversee the integration of paid media campaigns, including both platform-delivered value and direct GM spend, ensuring unified global impact.
+ Partner with the SVP of Global Priorities to pace and manage the global paid media budget.
+ Partner with Global Marketing peers (Creator, Direct-to-Fan, Playlisting) and analytics teams to ensure campaigns align with broader objectives and lifecycle strategies.
+ Ensure compliance with platform policies, data privacy laws, and artist brand standards.
Partnerships & Platform Strategy:
+ Build and maintain senior-level relationships with platforms (e.g., Meta, YouTube, TikTok) to drive innovation, unlock new ad formats, and enhance value delivery.
+ Act as a key strategic point of contact for platform partners, finding opportunities for additional inventory, editorial features, or co-marketing initiatives.
Innovation & Optimization
+ Drive adoption of new tools, technologies, and ad formats to enhance campaign effectiveness.
+ Refine global media operations and workflows to ensure consistent execution while allowing for local market adaptability.
+ Lead adoption of emerging ad tech (e.g., AI-driven optimization, programmatic automation, creative AI) to maintain a competitive edge.
+ Collaborate with Marketing Enablement and Marketing Intelligence teams to establish value approach, lead all aspects of vendor selection, and coordinate global tool improvement.
**About you:**
+ 10+ years in digital and paid media, including 3+ years leading senior teams and cross-functional groups across regions.
+ Deep expertise in multi-channel paid media strategy (Meta, YouTube/Google, TikTok, DSPs, and emerging platforms) with strong knowledge of media buying, optimization, and performance measurement.
+ Proven track record building and scaling global media operations within music, entertainment, or culturally driven consumer brands.
+ Skilled at bridging high-level strategy with hands-on execution, leading both vision-setting and operational refinement.
+ Experienced navigating complex matrix organizations across multiple time zones and markets.
+ Global experience across multiple international regions, including the US and UK, is a plus.
+ Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.

Salary Range
$150,000 to $170,000 Annually

Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
Support pricing and monetization strategy for any new products, platforms, sites, content or audience segments.
Regional lead to ensure adherence of sales policy, communicate new strategies and new products to the sales team, as well as drive adoption through sharing of best practices
Provide guidance to sales team for best inventory usage to maximize viewability, brand safety, and other client KPIs
Work with individual sales teams to validate audiences and identify actionable and profitable data segments to align with our advertiser needs
Adapt, maintain and govern a portfolio of audience definitions including 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data for both prospecting and retention of audiences through the Data Management Platform (DMP) and other relevant tools
Gain a deep understanding of the current and potential audiences in order to segment them
Develop new strategies to improve the sales workflow process
Provide training to all new sales coordinators in region (and key individuals in Rep businesses)
Superuser of all BBC advertising digital systems including order management tools, ad servers and CRM platforms
Liaise with Pricing & Yield Management team, Planning team and Business Intelligence to ensure open flow of information and accurate data to better understand performance, optimize campaigns, manage resources accordingly, and to achieve Yield targets.
Ad Operations
Management of regional Ad Operations team based in the US.
Lead start to finish Sales operations in the Americas region - including but not limited to RFP planning, sponsorship builds, OMS input, troubleshooting, billing, reporting, optimizations, creative compliance.
Ensure minimal revenue loss, by minimizing risk and coming up with proactive solutions to issues
Act as departmental point of escalation for troubleshooting campaigns, and provide technical support to external and internal clients to resolve any issues and develop a plan for the prevention of the same issues.
Maintains strong capacity planning capabilities and provide Leadership Team with up to date capacity analysis and forecasting.
Continually works to improve working practices to ensure efficient trafficking and best in class delivery.
Operational implementation of new ad products, in partnership with Product Innovation team, including testing, allocating resources, identifying and resolving resource challenges and ensuring that new products only go live with appropriate delivery capabilities in place.
Frequently review tools used by Ad Operations team to maximize performance and make recommendations for change with supporting business plans and budgets.
Keep on top of industry trends in online advertising and ad operations including attendance management of industry events attendance by the Ad Operations team and set clear expectations around ROI.

An ability to work concisely and accurately is vital. You will also be involved in technologies and project work that drive the business forward whether that be audience tools or researching new ad formats. The candidate will need to show leadership qualities to teams, by influencing and mandating policy and regulations that drive more revenue for the BBC.
