Responsibilities


Damage Code, Book and Process warranty claims. Verify criteria required by factory. Arrange for parts to be shipped to the factory or to be scrapped. Follow up with the factory regarding unpaid claims. Reconcile warranty claims schedule(s). Maintain service related correspondence and files. Obtain customer and vehicle data and pull customer files. Assist accounting with coding of invoices for service department, payroll and other requests. Serve as cashier backup. Maintain a high degree of accuracy and courtesy. Perform all duties within the required time limits. Adhere strictly to all company rules, policies and procedures. Maintain strict confidentiality of confidential personal information of our customers in compliance with the Federal Trade Commission Safeguards Rule, implementing the provisions of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act as they pertain to automobile dealerships.

to completion, warranty and exceptional customer service.


Qualifications:


Minimum of 1 to 3 years RV experience. Customer relations ability, ability to plan and control,

product knowledge, administrative skills to include computers, problem solving ability, multitasking.


Job Requirements


Answer telephones and assist customers with questions about unit and technical questions as needed.
Manage work orders on a daily basis through proper Work Order Management.
Follow the FDMRV check-in procedure when dropping off new units.
Process the customer's work order efficiently through the Shop, Warranty and Parts
Develop and maintain high morale with team members throughout all departments.
Schedule work orders to technicians ensuring, that by 8:30 am daily, all work is properly routed and staged for each technician.
Improve efficiency of technicians by pre-planning all work and monitoring daily productivity levels.
Process all warranty claims within 24 hours of receiving the pcc's.
Once warranty is approved, re-schedule work back to shop for completion.
Finalize all warranty in a timely manner keeping the warranty clerk screen current at all times.
Follow-up with technicians to ensure all warranty parts are tagged and returned.
Send all warranty part returns to the parts department for proper shipping returns.
Keep and maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance of all OSHA regulations.
Check all work to ensure that the quality of work performed is satisfactory and signed off.
Close all work orders immediately after inspection of the completed work and all retail money is collected prior to customer taking vehicle.
Obtain customer signatures on all repair orders and warranty claim forms when applicable
Work a minimum of 45 hours during each pay period; less any approved and paid time off.

The Warranty Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to the service department. This role keeps databases organized and updated frequently, assists with preparation of payroll and reports, and monitors progress of repairs and updates records accordingly.
