POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible to prepare and repair coaches and document all work performed on a repair order.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

* Manage work assignment including flag time, cause and correction documentation, escalation to supervisors when repair time will exceed allotted time
* Experience performing Pre-Delivery Inspections to prepare an RV for customer delivery
* Knowledge of electrical and electrical diagnostics

o Including: 120AC and 12DC

o Inverters and converters

o Basic knowledge of AC electrical system theory and testing

* Inspect and complete battery maintenance
* Perform engine and generator oil changes
* Perform chassis lube
* Basic woodworking, cabinetry and skills
* Experience inspecting, diagnosing and determining repair or replacement of all major systems and components found in an RV

o Including but not limited to: Brakes, hydraulic systems, air conditioners, furnaces, water heaters, refrigerators, stoves, plumbing, slides, jacks, and LP/propane

* Completing preventative maintenance on various RV components

o Including but not limited to: fuel filter, air filter, hydraulic filter, water separator, air dryer service, axle seals, slide & jacks, brakes, and exterior sealant

* Experience installing RV accessories

o Including but not limited to: Hitches, brake controllers, slide out toppers, satellites, furniture, awnings, back up cameras, Wi-Fi extenders, mattresses, appliances, and vent covers

* Perform tire & brake checks
* Understanding and compliance with OEM and vendor warranty procedures
* Basic understanding of generator operation and maintenance procedures
* Maintain a safe and clean work environment
* Ensure the proper use, care and storage of all tools and equipment
* Provide high level quality repairs on all work assignments
* Attend all company required meetings and training
* Additional responsibilities as requested or required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

* Minimum 1-year service technician experience or related fields preferred
* RVIA certification helpful but not required
* Prior technical experience in electrical, plumbing, or carpentry is highly desired
* Valid Driver's License and clean driving record to meet insurance requirements
* Must provide own tools
* Must have excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Availability to work more than 40 hours a week including nights, weekends, and whenever needed to meet business needs

The Senior Warranty Technician is utilized to complete many tasks for Service Champions. This position requires a highly technical, seasoned and trained technician. These technicians must also possess excellent problem-solving abilities, exceptional customer service acumen and is a champion of our "Core Values".
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Diagnose, repair and report installation and service issues both "at-fault" and "no-fault" of Service Champions.

+ Implement action plans to train on issues seen in the field.

+ To coach, teach, train and ensure the success of all service technicians and installers.

+ Coordinates with the Dispatch Department to ensure any warranty issues on recent service calls are completed beyond the client's satisfaction.

+ Diagnoses malfunctions of heating and air conditioning systems and/or components for the purpose of identifying repair/replacement needs necessary to maintain equipment and systems.

+ Repairs heating and air conditioning systems and related equipment (e.g. unit heaters, pumps, safety controls, etc.) for the purpose of providing residents with comfort.

+ Maintains tools, supplies and/or equipment (e.g. torches, cutters, drills, test equipment, sheet metal, filters, control components, gaskets, seals, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring the availability of items and equipment is in safe operating condition.

+ Orders repair parts and supplies to be completed same day or have them overnighted to be completed next day or at a client requested time (e.g. replacement parts, filters, compressor saver kits, associated hardware, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of required items.

+ Prepares documentation (e.g. warranty parts, service records, requisitions, work performed, etc.) for the purpose of providing written support and/or conveying information.

+ Reviews warranty calls daily to improve the overall department quality and to prevent future warranty calls.

+ Partners with the Service Manager weekly to review current training topics, based upon warranty calls completed.

+ Conduct pre-season tune up training prior to the club member ship drop.

+ Verify and confirm all technicians are providing our customers a consistent WOW precision tune up and professional cleaning.
