Process Technician Job in Bentonville, AR
Onsite hands-on associate to pick, stage, test, pack, and ship demo equipment to North America sales teams. This includes returns and disposition to repair facilities and induction back into the inventory. Will need to provide tailored demo-depot customer service/operations support. Maintain inventory integrity and quality checks, and assist the demo depot program manager in developing and implementing strategies for improving operational efficiencies and other initiatives across the demo depot workflows, processes, and procedures. Initiates problem-solving actions and follows through to resolution. Provide reports as needed.
Responsibilities:
Be part of a cross-functional team that will pick, stage, test, pack, and ship equipment to sales teams within North America
Receive new equipment into the inventory and stock at designated locations.
Receive returned equipment and process to and from repair depots as defined
Maintain inventory accuracy via cycle counts, purging obsolete items, and updating bin location files.
Insure that quality checks are maintained and carried out to avoid issues.
Work directly with sales teams to ensure full understanding of their concerns and issues; maintain a professional demeanor and instill customer confidence that the issue will be resolved promptly.
Work closely with team members and the demo program manager to improve the process and provide needed enhancements.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Inventory-control management experience, and knowledge of shipping logistics domestically and internationally (Canada)
• 1-3 years of customer engagement and product knowledge across the Client portfolio (Mobile Computers, Scanners, Printers).
• Proficient in various software programs, working knowledge of the following CRM/ERP systems; Salesforce and Siebel a plus, will train if needed
• Excellent skills in Microsoft business applications including Word and Excel. The use of excel pivot tables would be a plus.
• Experience working with IT, SMART testing applications and Agile is a plus
• Proven administrative skills, preferably in a technical environment or with a technical degree required.
• Ability to perform in a task-orientated and multitasking environment is required
• Proven problem-solving, decision making and conflict-management skills
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship
