Position Summary The role of the Medical Assistant reports to the Clinic Manager. This position is responsible for assisting the nurse and front office with day-to-day duties. Essential Job Responsibilities * Obtain patient vitals and input data into the electronic medical records system * Perform any necessary CLIA-waive tests * Clean room after patient use * Ensure exam rooms are adequately stocked with necessary supplies * Appropriately process soiled instruments * Assist front desk with daily operations, as needed Qualifications * Education: High School diploma or GED * Licensure and Certifications: CPR, required. * Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a previous medical assistant role, preferred. Work Environment: This position will spend 80% of time standing and/or walking while pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 50 pounds.
