Your day might include:
Building and maintaining relationships with local businesses, primarily in Thurston County, financial CTE instructors, and community partners to stay current on trends in financial education and program design.
Monitoring and supporting 20-30 high school students enrolled in the Worksite Learning Program to ensure employment performance and behavior meet graduation credit requirements.
Setting goals and coaching and mentoring students to interact positively with employers and educators, supporting accountability, growth, and successful completion of assignments and projects.
Designing, creating, and marketing engaging financial education courses, study materials, and workshops for high school classrooms, including New Market Skills Center and other schools as needed.
Collaborating with the Community Workplace Professionals Advisory Board to celebrate progress, facilitate goal setting, and strengthen program outcomes.
Encouraging student engagement by incorporating feasible student ideas and offering creative solutions to motivate participation.
Communicating clearly and positively to reinforce service promise expectations and foster strong working relationships with students, educators, coworkers, and community partners.
Demonstrating professionalism, adaptability, and problem-solving skills while working effectively with minimal supervision.
Seeking opportunities to improve and streamline work processes and pursuing training beyond required expectations while remaining receptive to feedback and coaching.
Serving as a liaison between the community and WSECU by responding to Community Relations inquiries, participating in team meetings, and representing WSECU with a positive and professional image.

What you bring to the team:
Minimum of two (2) years of college OR substitute two (2) years of leadership experience for college.

Responsibilities
Makes appropriate recommendations and decisions for lending, deposit, and service charge requests that balance the needs of the member with the needs of the membership and promotes a growing financial cooperative.
Communicate effectively in person, by phone, or by email.
Place and receive phone calls related to member business.
Follow up with prospects and ask for their business.
Participate in branch promotions as assigned.
Support branch operational tasks.
Conduct general account maintenance and ensure member account information is updated and accurate.
Complete basic transactional needs as needed to support member experience.
Manage member concerns and understand escalation process when needed.

This role is responsible for assisting Food, Beverage & Agribusiness loan officers in the portfolio management activities (generally large and moderately complex loans). Will manage assigned credit portfolio, manage the associated credit risk, and identify opportunities for expansion. Key highlights of the role will include the following:
**Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Partner with loan officers to effectively administer the management of assigned commercial banking relationships.
+ Perform credit underwriting duties for existing/prospective client relationships, which may include but are not limited to the following: perform detailed credit analysis to determine borrower/guarantor repayment capacity, appropriate loan structuring recommendations, complete credit packages for credit committee approval (new business/reaffirmations) submission. Preparation of underwriting documents will also include collateral analysis on multiple asset classes and preparation of pricing and risk rating models suitable for each credit request.
+ Continuously monitor borrowing base reports, budget tracking and covenant compliance with regular reporting requirements to loan officers and loan/credit monitoring and credit review. Follow established protocols and maintain tracking of documentation exceptions, past dues, field exams, borrowing base reports and covenant exceptions.
+ Recognize and manage early warning signs for the portfolio on a recurring basis, which may include but are not limited to the following: analyze borrower/guarantor financial performance upon receipt of reporting requirements, either monthly, quarterly or annually. Fully analyze and confirm borrowing base and financial covenant compliance, analyze payment performance benchmarks and perform regular financial reviews.
+ Provide recurring customer service to existing and prospective clients, which includes direct contact with customers either through participation in joint sales calls with loan officers or direct correspondence with clients and perform various projects/tasks as needed with an emphasis on maintaining UMB TUCE at all times.
+ File all required reports and resolve all related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
+ Ability to effectively manage competing deadlines for projects in a high-pressure work environment, with minimal supervision required

**Knowledge & Skills**
MINIMUM:
+ Demonstrates knowledge of agribusiness and production agriculture industries in the Western US, including fruit & vegetable crops, row crops, tree nuts, citrus, wine, dairy, cattle and agribusinesses supporting these sectors.
