Led by Philip Fisher, Stanford Center on Early Childhood Director, the RAPID National Survey administers monthly surveys on a rapid-cycle schedule, and has collected data from more than 25,000 households and 13,000 childcare providers in all 50 states. The survey and data are used to inform policy, advocacy, academic, and practitioner audiences on the experiences, challenges, and strengths of caregivers of young children and providers beyond those immediately related to the pandemic, to support data-driven policies and programs that equitably and effectively serve families, providers, and young children. RAPID is now implemented in community, state, and national contexts, working in partnership with local and state organizations. The RAPID datasets are extensive and quickly growing, and include both quantitative and qualitative data.
In close coordination with project managers, the DataAnalyst 1 will perform rapid-cycle statistical analyses, create insightful data visualizations, and prepare statistical reports using data collected through the RAPID surveys. The DataAnalyst 1 will perform analysis primarily on data from the RAPID States projects and provide analytic support to the monthly national household survey, monthly national child care provider survey, and RAPID's place-based surveys and other survey partnerships. The Medical College of Georgia (MCG) is one of the nation's largest medical schools by class size, with 304 students per class. The MCG educational experience is anchored by the main campus in Augusta, with regional clinical campuses for third- and fourth-year students across the state, and two four-year campuses located in Athens (in partnership with the University of Georgia) and in Savannah (in partnership with Georgia Southern University). MCG's expanding partnerships with physicians and hospitals across Georgia currently provide more than 350 sites where students can experience the full spectrum of medicine, from complex care hospitals to small-town solo practices. Job Summary
The Department of AI & Health seeks a Data Scientist 1 to join our growing research unit at a transformative time in healthcare research. This position plays a critical role in advancing our computational capabilities and establishing our department as a leader in AI-driven health research. You will work on cutting-edge projects involving medical imaging, electronic health records, genomics, and real-time patient monitoring data, contributing to high-impact research in predictive diagnostics, personalized medicine, and clinical decision support systems. This position will work closely with study investigators, project managers, and other research personnel to design and implement data management and analytic strategies that align with the project's scientific objectives. The primary responsibilities include:
* Assisting with the design, testing, and maintenance of data collection instruments, participant tracking tools, and electronic data capture systems (e.g., REDCap).
* Carrying out ongoing data quality assurance procedures, including data cleaning, validation, codebook development, and documentation of data irregularities or protocol deviations.
* Performing secure data storage, organization, and retrieval processes consistent with institutional and federal compliance requirements (including de-identification, data transfer protocols, and controlled-access procedures).
* Supporting the establishment, maintenance, and sharing of research datasets for internal project use and for external collaborators, including preparation of well-documented, analysis-ready datasets.
* Collaborating with investigators and analysts to generate summary statistics or descriptive reports that inform study operations and manuscript development.

Title: Analyst III, Research & Data
Assists with the implementation of the district's student data systems to measure student performance over time, providing the school district, staff, and parents with data analysis and interpretation, and works collaboratively with all stakeholders and communicates effectively with stakeholders regarding the successful use of data.
Essential Functions:
• Assists with the implementation of the district's research, data, and evaluation program and implements the accountability system for student achievement, perception data, program data, and demographic data.
• Researches and implements best practices, methods, and procedures for empirical evaluation of instructional programs and practices.
• Utilizes the District's student data system to measure student assessment performance over time to inform educational decision-making.
• Conducts statistical analysis, such as t-test, ANOVA, multivariate regression, factor analysis, HLM models, and RASCH analyses, on classroom quality indicators and student educational outcomes to identify implications for data-driven decision-making and program improvement.
• Led the development of plans to improve data collection efforts for state reporting requirements by monitoring, managing, and analyzing data on students' demographics and coordinating data improvement processes with managers in other departments.
• Supports data reporting and disseminates research information and findings to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Manages research design and analysis with the ability to communicate findings, both written and orally, to a broad range of audiences, including policymakers, academics, district leadership, and staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a closely related area from a Professional Standards Commission-approved accredited college or university is preferred. Associate's degree required. If an Associate's degree is not held, a minimum of five (5) years of related experience may be considered.

Who We Are: The Center for Early Learning Funding Equity (CELFE) was established to develop and promote research- and data-informed strategies to transform funding of Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) programs for children ages 0-5. Housed in Northern Illinois University's Division of Outreach, Engagement, and Regional Development (OERD), CELFE works in collaboration with academic, data, and research partners across the NIU system as well as with external partners.
CELFE began its work focused primarily on Illinois' ECEC system, in which our Director, Theresa Hawley, Ph.D. has spent almost 30 years as a researcher, advocate, and government systems change leader - working to improve ECEC policies with children and families at the center. Now, CELFE is building on that experience and the passion for systems change to focus more deeply on the funding adequacy and equity of the ECEC system. The scope and reach of CELFE is expanding to include all states and municipalities interested in transformation.
CELFE is only in its fourth year and needs to scale up our internal capacity to meet the growing needs of states and clients interested in understanding how to transform their own ECEC systems through an equity lens, with children and families at the center. As such, we are hiring a DataAnalyst to support our Program and Policy staff with client work, research projects, and general organizational support.
Position Summary
This position is a hybrid, Chicago-based position with a requirement to be in person a portion of every week. 100% remote candidates will not be considered for this position.
This position includes responsibilities to support the overall work of the center, with a particular focus data collection, analysis and visualization. The position contributes and supports CELFE's research and dissemination work, client projects, and overall organizational workflow and growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Research Activities - 40%
* Collaborates with colleagues, researchers, partners, and clients to develop objectives and design of research projects and proposals.
* Performs complex data collection and study methods, evaluation and analysis requiring use of independent judgment.

Minimum Qualifications:
• 3 years of experience in metal additive manufacturing or related field.
• Leadership or technical mentoring experience, ability to work in a team environment, and the ability to provide technical leadership for supporting personnel and collaborators.
• A bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science from an accredited University.
