Diesel Mechanic Position Summary:
This position is required to safely and accurately perform general property and vehicle maintenance & repair duties in and around the shop operations in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge and understanding of basic preventative maintenance and repair techniques of Class 5 through Class 8 commercial vehicles to include tank trailer inspection and maintenance related to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations is required.
Diesel Mechanic Essential Functions:
All fleet mechanic positions will be required to perform vehicle maintenance & repair duties safely and accurately in and around the shop operations in a fast-paced environment.
Fleet Mechanic Levels I & II will learn and become proficient utilizing the company's maintenance software program to create and complete work orders and maintain work order/vehicle maintenance records. Job Summary
Under the guidance of Cost Estimating management, the Lead Cost Estimator prepares cost estimates for mid-sized to large capital construction projects with moderate to high complexity. This role involves close collaboration with the Project Manager and other team members to develop and update project cost estimates. The Lead Cost Estimator adheres to established departmental procedures, guidelines, and best practices throughout the estimate development process and when documenting the basis of estimate, while also supporting management in the development and continuous improvement of existing procedures and practices. Essential Functions
Collaborates with the Project Manager and team to create cost estimates at various scope maturity levels using InEight Estimate application and Excel.
Collects project scope details, drawings, schedules, and execution strategies. Prepares and maintains the Basis of Estimate document to support development of cost estimates
Perform QC checks on estimates prepared by fellow Estimators on the team and review and assessment of cost estimates completed by others. Provides feedback in prioritized and comprehensive format and develops formal Cost Estimate Review Reports when required.
Develop cost estimate by identifying work packages, quantifying scope elements, estimating direct cost line items and construction indirect costs, and estimating project "soft" costs such as project management, construction management, etc.
Support development of project budget contingency to account for estimate uncertainties and potential project risks events. Participates in risk evaluation sessions or pre-construction reviews, and ensures risks are documented and assessed in terms of probability and impact to enable project team development of risk mitigation plans and contingencies
Assists with preparing and assessing change order impact estimates, mentors' junior estimators, contribute to initiatives in business process improvements.
Conduct site visits of future and ongoing construction project sites to support cost estimate development and gain knowledge of craft/discipline scope of work.

Position Overview:

Essential Functions
Works a variety of hours within a 24/7 transportation environment.
Assists the Conductor in the safe movement of trains by adhering to applicable operating rules/practices.
Assists the Conductor in the oversight of all on-train employees in service delivery by adhering to the Corporation's service standards.
Ensures all revenue documents (cash, credit card receipts, proof of payment) are collected/verified in accordance with designated tariffs.
Ensures safety of passengers and crew by adhering to safety rules.

Clark Transfer runs exclusively with Owner Operators - we do not hire lease-purchase drivers. All drivers must already own their own tractor. Owner Operators pull our customized 48' and 53' trailers.

Solo Owner Operators average $175,000 to $225,000+ on less than 85k miles per year
Team Owner Operators average $275,000 to $325,000+ on less than 110k miles per year
Solos: Guaranteed minimum weekly average: $3,500/week worked (most earn $3,750 - $4,250+)
Teams: Guaranteed minimum weekly average: $5,000/week worked (most earn $5,500 - $6,500+)
