About the Internship
This is a paid, full-time, in-person program intended for rising juniors and seniors currently enrolled in college.
Internship opportunities are available in three areas:
* Touring: Our Touring Agents book and negotiate live performances for artists, coordinating venues, routing, contracts, and logistics to build a successful tour.
* Tour Marketing: Our Tour Marketing team crafts and executes impactful marketing and ticketing strategies that power successful festivals and tours across the globe.
* Brand Partnerships: Our Brand Partnerships team develops innovative partnerships for artists across the Music Division and the broader Wasserman network.
Interns gain hands-on experience and exposure to agency functions, including:
* Uploading performance offers and show finals into the booking system
* Generating tour itineraries and understanding tour routings
* Assisting with artist immigration processes
* Shadowing agent teams to learn about client services and workflow
* Reviewing ticket sales and creating reports to understand tour marketing
* Participating in Social Impact and DE&I initiatives

Job Overview:
Wasserman Digital is seeking a Technical Lead to drive development across the full project lifecycle for a range of e-commerce initiatives, with a primary focus on BigCommerce, Shopify, and/or Adobe Commerce (Magento). The Technical Lead will act as the technical owner on client engagements - responsible for designing scalable solutions, clearly communicating technical approaches to stakeholders, and partnering with Engineering, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality, high-performance delivery.
Please note this is a contract position up to 1 year.
What You'll Do:
Lead the end-to-end technical architecture, implementation, and launch of e-commerce solutions for Wasserman Digital clients and channel partners.
Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients and internal teams, providing guidance on platform capabilities, best practices, and solution approaches.
Oversee ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and technical support for client e-commerce sites, ensuring stability and performance.
Collaborate closely with project managers to coordinate all phases of the software delivery lifecycle, including solution architecture, technical design reviews, development planning, and quality assurance.
Mentor and develop a high-performing team of Software Engineers, while conducting code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across multiple systems, vendors, APIs, and integration points.
Define, implement, and enforce development standards across source control, build automation, testing practices, code quality, and release management (including theme and configuration deployments).
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of experience in web application development and API integrations, including solution design for at least two e-commerce platforms-BigCommerce, Shopify Plus, and/or Adobe Commerce (Magento).
Excellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven experience leading technical discussions, developing architecture documentation, and guiding engineering teams throughout the implementation process.
Hands-on experience designing headless commerce or composable architectures using REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
Experience integrating e-commerce platforms with ERP, CRM, OMS, or PIM systems, either directly or through iPaaS middleware.
Strong understanding of Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or similar platforms.
Nice to Have
Experience with backend application development using Laravel or Node.js.
Background in performance optimization, caching strategies, and CDN edge compute technologies (e.g., Cloudflare Workers, AWS Lambda@Edge).

This role may be performed remotely within Eastern Time Zone working hours, or from one of our East Coast offices.

A key role within our Motorsport team taking on responsibility for developing and implementing events, hospitality programmes and brand experiences, at and away from track, as well as ad hoc experiential non-motorsport events for a leading F1 sponsor.

This role will be reporting to the Associate Director, Motorsports on the account.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
General account responsibilities include:
Partnership events and hospitality planning, aligned to client requirements in terms of audience/guest profile, objectives, budget parameters, and performance KPIs.
Implementation of partnership events and hospitality programmes, in conjunction with rights holder and sister agencies, and general account management o suppliers, budget and client reporting.
Reporting and evaluation, including interpretation of results and recommendations to clients.
Planning and oversight of all events-related deliverables across other areas of partnership activation and account management
Responsibilities across core partnership management deliverables, including management of merchandise/collateral, contractual asset monitoring and status reporting - ensuring contractual asset usage is maximised and tracked.
Role specific responsibilities include:
Oversee development and end-to-end delivery of multiple motorsport and ad hoc non-motorsport events and activations concurrently.
Deliver best-in-class client motorsport hospitality events and activations, pulling through core client narrative to all touch-points.
Source, brief and manage external expert suppliers and specialists such a production partners, talent, chefs, florists and luxury experience providers
Strong relationship building with relevant client stakeholders, rights holders and suppliers.
Strive to meet client KPIs and ensure activity is effectively measured.
Work across additional client programmes and activations as required, including non-motorsport specific events
Budget management: Pre-event budget setting, forecasting, live tracking and post-event reconciliation; thorough understanding of client budget parameters; continually looking for cost saving measures and opportunities
Team management: Manage team members, ensuring that tasks are bein completed correctly, efficiently and timely; monitor and approve spending of direct reports
Regular interactions with Associate Director and Account Director to ensure client events are managed consistently and delivered to the highest standards of quality, detail and brand alignment
Support collation and management of Motorsport events documents, trackers, templates and planning materials
Stay informed on luxury, lifestyle and hospitality trends, proactively introduce fresh ideas, partners and innovations to clients
Develop clear and concise internal and external presentations and reporting
Demonstrate appropriate behaviours, conduct and professionalism in all inter-personal, written and verbal communications
Track time and financial expenses on a day-to-day basis
WHAT YOU NEED:
Agency experience is strongly preferred
Motorsport (F1) experience is preferred but not necessary
Proven experience curating luxury, high-end event experiences including venue sourcing, entertainment, catering, styling and guest touch-points, with a strong eye for detail and aesthetics
Experience working with global brands and teams across multiple timezones
Ability to multi-task; you will be working across a number of events with tight deadlines with client teams based worldwide
Ability to anticipate problems / issues and suggest proactive solutions
Strong operations and logistics management skills, including experience with hotel contracting, planning of shipments, transport and global travel
Experience working with Google programmes including Google slides, sheets and docs is highly desired.
Budget management skills
Presentation skills (verbal and written), internally and to clients/suppliers including use of Microsoft Powerpoint and Google Slides
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written, internally and to clients suppliers
Team management including the coordination of junior team members
Creative thinking and awareness of event industry trends
Attention to detail and proactive working attitude is critical
Willingness to travel and work non-standard hours, including weekends, as required by event schedules
Base salary range: $80k-$88k, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.

Duties
