**R360 Environmental Solutions** , a Waste Connections company, is the nation's leading environmental oilfield waste management provider, R360 has the resources to offer superior reliability and results to customers across the country. We currently have a position available for an experienced safety conscious **EquipmentOperator** at our site in **Catarina, TX** . This is a 11 day on 3 day off schedule. We have an excellent management team and offer competitive pay, benefits, 401K and PTO.
Pay: $18-$20/hr.
**Requirements:**
+ Experience driving a vacuum truck, dozer, and/or excavator _preferred_
+ General maintenance and PM of equipment
+ Must demonstrate ability to learn and independently operateequipment used at facility
+ Must become proficient in the care and use of all site specific, facility required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
+ Must demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily
+ Able to work outside in all weather conditions

The Operator - Heavy Equipment is responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment at a recycling center, landfill or transfer station for the purpose of transferring, spreading, covering, loading and/or compacting waste or soil in an efficient and safe manner.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Perform pre- and post-operation inspection of the equipment in accordance with Company policy to ensure windows, lights, mirrors and rear view camera are clean. Safely and efficiently operateequipment that may include: forklift, excavator, bulldozer, front-end loader and other equipment using proper safety standards.
+ Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste in materials.
+ Continuously monitor the condition of the equipment to ensure it is operationally ready at all times to minimize down time; clean tracks or wheels on equipment, as needed.
+ Perform and document minor service on equipment, referring more complicated mechanical issues to Maintenance Shop for repair.
+ Complete Equipment Condition Report and other reports, as necessary; report any necessary repairs to supervisor, as needed.
+ Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
+ Ensure that shop is clean, serviced and stored at the completion of each shift.
+ Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Good customer services skills to meet and exceed customer expectations; acts in a professional, courteous and cooperative manner toward customers and co-workers; works with a sense of honesty and trustworthiness.
+ Good time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient and safe manner.
+ Good follow through ability; ability to adhere to work schedule and follows through on challenges as they arise.

The Heavy EquipmentOperator safely operates various light and heavy equipment in a hazardous waste treatment processing facility or landfill. **PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Assists in off-loading trucks and unloading waste. + Operatesequipment to stabilize and handle waste.
+ Processes treatment of materials and containers.
+ Samples post-treated materials for testing by laboratory.

As a Heavy EquipmentOperator I you'll be responsible for operating heavy equipment like bulldozers, scrapers & front-end loaders - this role is vital to the work we do, so your work will be recognized and valued for the impact it has on our operation. * Moves and positions raw materials and finished components with use of material moving equipment.
* Follow appropriate standard operating procedures as per guidelines for operating and maintaining vehicle.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
