The Environmental Services Field Technician I (Driver Non-CDL) performs operational functions relating to emergency response and hazardous and non-hazardous spill clean-up and Hazmat Decon work. Inspects vessels and peripheral equipment prior to voyage to ensure efficient, safe operation and conformance to regulations and company policies. Utilizes navigational equipment, weather forecasts and tide/current predictions to ensure the overall safety of vessel and crew. Operates vessel, when safe to do so, in oceans, bays, lakes, rivers or coastal waters as directed by supervisor.
