We are looking for an individual who enjoys Accounts Receivable and Collections. This person will be responsible for reaching out to our delinquent accounts via phone and email, taking customer payments, setting up payment arrangements, and working to resolve problems that arise concerning service or billing. The schedule will be Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. The pay range for this position will be $42.00 - 44.48/hour, depending on experience. The Field Chemist II facilitates Lab Pack Program, Household Hazardous Waste (HHW), and other field activities by providing field services for customers on their site, including the characterization, packaging, handling, and transportation of wastes. Incumbent maintains safety, meticulous attention to detail, profitability, and efficiency. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides Lab Packing services at customer sites maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and with established company procedures. Samples and characterizes hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Generates waste profiles into end-user facility. Performs price quotes for customer. Provides customers with detailed inventory of waste on site. Transports wastes from customer sites to end user or transfer facility. The Receiving Chemist I is responsible for Lab Pack Coding/Processing, Drum Receiving/Coding, and the Shipping of waste materials. This position verifies counts and container sizes for incoming loads, conducts initial sampling to confirm acceptance, applies barcodes for material tracking, and ensures all activities comply with facility permits, RCRA, DOT, and EPA regulatory requirements. Day Shift Pay - $ 19.00 - $22.00 an hour Qualifications Education & Experience Required: 2 years of college or specialized training in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field. Investigate missing/extra drums and non-conforming shipments. Apply barcodes, assign routing, and weigh drums when needed. Move drums from staging to appropriate storage areas. Shipping & Outbound Materials Manage all outbound drum and bulk shipments. Ensure least-cost routing using proper profiles and shipping paperwork. Prepare, stage, and label shipments according to DOT and facility guidelines. Coordinate with National Logistics for scheduling and compliance. Sampling & Material Verification Open and sample all plant-received materials following WAP and CHES guidelines. Record results and collect lab-analysis samples as required. Verify inbound material counts against shipping documentation. General Duties Maintain safe working conditions and comply with OSHA, Health & Safety, and company protocols.
