How much of a beating do those trucks take? Do they need a brake job and a new clutch every week? How do you get past seat belt laws having a dude hanging off the back of the truck?

The trucks are treated pretty well by the drivers who care about their trucks. We do have some drivers who just do not care and let the trucks break down. Brakes are not changed that often. We do inspections on the trucks ever 150 hours, 500 hours 1500 hours and 2400 hours (each is a different area) each interval starts from the beginning and works its way up. For example a 1500 hour does 150, 500 and 1500. The ONLY time they are allowed to ride on the back of the truck is if the truck is going between 5-10 miles (can remember which). Otherwise the helpers need to be inside the cab.
