I. Job Summary
Under general supervision, assist plant staff in assessing, planning and execution of plant optimization through daily preventative maintenance and continuous improvement with a strict adherence to safety protocol.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures to include but not limited to Hazardous Energy Control Procedures, Lock Out/Tag Out and Confined Space protocol.
* Inspect, sort, and move materials into piles or containers while assuring the quality of the final product.
* Works with Plant management to assess and plan for production optimization.
* Maintains integrity of equipment by performing daily preventative maintenance and cleaning duties.
* Assist with resolution of production interruptions.
* Assists Plant Technicians with adjustments, repair or replacements of all fixed and rolling stock equipment as necessary.
* Performs project related work and other tasks as assigned.

Manages landfill construction projects from overseeing the preparation of construction plans to final approval. I. Job Summary
Drivers operate heavy-duty trucks with front, side, or rear-end load lift attachments dependent on the line of business they're operating in and the type of truck they're operating. Drivers will transport the material to a disposal, transfer or recycle facility when trucks reach legal load capacity. Commercial Drivers are responsible for providing the pick-up service of containers filled with waste or recyclable material. Roll-off Drivers are responsible for preparing, loading, and transporting large mobile open-top and compactor containers from customer locations. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operates vehicle in accordance with Waste Management Safety and Life Critical Rules, OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Act) and DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements as well as all local, state and federal laws.
Performs pre and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and documents checks utilizing the standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report).
Immediately reports all unsafe situations or service-related issues to Operations Manager or Dispatch.
Attends and participates in all scheduled training programs, briefings, and meetings as required by WM or directed by the Route Manager.
Works closely with Operations Manager to improve route efficiencies and identify best practices.
Notifies Operations Manager of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
Notifies Operations Manager or Dispatch of service interruptions including closed or impassable streets or alleyways, receptacles too heavy to service or potential safety hazards.
Communicates customer requests to Operations Manager or Dispatch.
Completely dumps all receptacles and leaves the customer's location clean and free of debris.
Follows route assignments as directed and completes end-of-day documentation and check-out process.
Performs all duties as scheduled by Operations Manager or Dispatch and assists other drivers as directed to meet customer needs.

Performs various tasks in a landfill including containing loose refuse to prevent scattering and directing traffic at the landfill.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manually picks up windblown paper from periphery of landfill. Carries a large plastic trash bag and walks along the fenced border of the landfill, as well as on exterior land adjacent to the public property. Pulls paper from the fence and lifts loose paper from the ground, depositing refuse in bag until full.
Uses mobile vacuum to gather loose paper and refuse. Drives tractor pulling vacuum along the fenced border of the landfill, as well as on the exterior land adjacent to the public property. When destination is reached, parks and descends the tractor. Grasps the vacuum hose handle and guides to vacuum loose paper from the fence and ground. When the immediate area is vacuumed, ascends the tractor cab and drives forward. Parks and descends the cab, repeating the vacuum process as necessary. Repeats these steps, working around the outer edge of the landfill.
During the summer months, when traffic at landfill is extraordinarily heavy, the laborer is stationed at the landfill entrance in a chair to direct the traffic. Directs the flow of trucks. Communicates with the drivers verbally or by hand signals.
Lifts construction materials for projects related to site maintenance i.e., lumber, bags of concrete mix, hand tools, etc. Uses hand tools such as shovels, picks, axes and chain saws.
Manually separates metal, white goods, lumber and cardboard from trash on tipping floor at landfills with transfer station.

The Account Executive is responsible for identifying leads and proactively prospecting and selling new and profitable business within an assigned geographic area. * Utilizes Salesforce on a daily basis, schedules and documents all activities, and develops robust information profiles on prospective customers to facilitate acquisition of new customers.
* Prepares and delivers sales presentations to prospective new clients; follows up with key customer decision makers to close sales.
* Completes consistently scheduled phone blocks and cold call prospecting activities to establish initial and follow-up appointments with decision-makers.
* Develops and maintains an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends in designated markets to anticipate changing customer needs.
* Maintains a thorough knowledge of the Company's available services, lines of business, and pricing structures; offers additional services to existing and potential commercial, industrial and recycling clients, including total waste stream management solutions, as appropriate, to grow targeted profitable revenue and contribute to Company goals and objectives.
* Completes required Customer Service Agreements, reports and other paperwork in a timely manner and in accordance with Company policy.
* Regularly meets with Sales Manager to review weekly customer retention and relationship activities, progress versus goals and status of key customer relationships.
* Builds relationships and increases Company visibility through participation in Company-sponsored activities as required; attends trade shows, chamber of commerce events and other events, as necessary. Acts as a Company representative at community events, where required.

In addition to the technical engineering aspects, the role is diverse and ever interesting as it requires creativity and active participation in multiple functions of the business such as project planning and budgeting, accounting, contract negotiations, regulatory interaction, construction oversight and operations.
II. Essential Job Duties
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
* Develops an understanding of all permits governing the construction and operation of landfill disposal sites and other operations, such as waste transfer stations, collection operations and material recovery facilities, in an assigned area.
* Procures and directs professional consulting firms engaged in preparing regulatory documents, such as permit applications, for adherence to regulatory requirements and consistency with site conditions and operations. Review documents with an eye toward improving efficiencies in design, constructability, quality, compliance, safety, and cost savings. Work with senior engineers, operations, and consultants to update documents and permits to capture identified efficiencies.
* Assists and works alongside with senior level WM engineers on construction projects. Take responsibility for tasks as assigned by the lead WM engineer, such as contract administration, materials order and delivery, contractor scheduling, CQA oversight, etc.
* Works with operation teams to ensure compliance with permits and to prevent or resolve operational issues.
* Assists in the preparation and/or review of engineering, monitoring and environmental reports.
* Assists in environmental reviews and audits.
* Works with landfill managers to formulate short-term and long-term goals and action plans in alignment with WM objectives.
* Identifies and estimates the cost of site capital needs and follow-through with inclusion in annual budget exercises.
* Interacts with state and local agencies to foster positive working relationships and to insure efficient and effective compliance with regulations.
* Reviews and understands WM engineering and technical directives and Best Management Practices and implement at sites in your assigned area.
* Provides technical support to operations, sales staff, landfill managers and environmental staff, such as landfill gas technicians and other functional areas.
* Participates in continuing education opportunities to maintain and enhance personal skill sets and continually look for opportunities to integrate new knowledge, technologies and innovations into WM operations.

I. Job Summary
Safely operates a heavy-duty truck to perform assigned duties on transfer routes.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
Operates vehicle in accordance with Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements as well as all local, state and federal requirements and Company expectations for the Fleet; maintains a clean and safe vehicle.
Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle using utilizing standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report); notes all issues on DVIR form for corrective review/repair.
Immediately reports any unsafe situations or service calls to Operations Manager or Dispatch before attempting service.
Participates and cooperates in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required by Operations Manager.
Works closely with Operations Managers to improve route efficiencies and identify problem or unsafe accounts.
Performs all duties as scheduled by Operations Manager or Dispatch, assisting other company drivers as directed.
Notifies Operations Manager of any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage.
Notifies Dispatch or Operations Manager of issues as prescribed by Service Machine protocol, including blocked containers, potential missed pick-ups or problems that arise on the route.
Communicates customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Operations Manager.
Completely dumps all containers and leaves the customer's location clean and free of debris.
Completes and submits customer tickets when excess yardage must be removed.
Positions containers on the customer's property in a manner that ensures lids are properly replaced, containers are set in an upright position, and containers do not block driveway entrances or traffic.
Follows route assignments throughout the day and completes all documentation when checking-in at the end of the route.
