    We have an immediate position open for a Preventative Maintenance Mechanic to work on our fleet of trucks at in Centralia, WA. Mechanics interested in secure, steady employment are encouraged to apply. At least one year of experience doing preventative maintenance on diesel trucks is preferred. This is a safety-sensitive position. Pay and Schedule: Pay will start between $25-31/hr Shift is 4, 10-hour shifts Monday - Friday (with a rotating day) from 2pm-12:30am Responsibilities Include: Completes required paperwork utilizing the fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documents parts usage, and accounts for repair times. Welding and fabrication on trailers and 48 feet containers Ability to effectively communicate and understand service schedules and/or repairs General shop maintenance/cleaning duties as needed Equipment safety checks Communicate with drivers for issues in the morning and afternoon Reviews, completes, or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Report Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards. Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of commercial vehicles, including yellow iron.
