The Senior Account Executive (SAE) role is responsible for prospecting and closing sales to new customers to achieve budgeted sales goals. This position develops and implements sound selling strategies that ensure revenue growth at target or greater profitability levels by selling to new customers. Additionally, the role is responsible for managing existing business relationships in order to achieve budgeted sales and price goals by developing and implementing sound retention strategies, utilizing strong negotiation efforts to preserve business, and securing contract agreements from previously non-contracted customers. The Senior Account Executive will "save, secure, and convert" by handling all customer cancellation requests, providing ongoing education of contract details to existing customers, and by obtaining customer contract commitments during face-to-face interactions. All customer service escalations within the defined territory will be resolved through this position. SAEs are responsible for maintaining and growing billable value in their assigned accounts.

* Manage prospects by developing sound prospect development plans and maintaining key information in the prospect database. Maintain sales pipeline (both in terms of quantity and quality) to achieve new sales goals.
* Minimize most revenue and accounts by maintaining SSDO relationship health standards and diffusing cancellation requests. Meet or exceed sales call activity goals for proactive account retention.
* Increase revenue and profitability by executing sound plans on retention calls to improve the customers' service and/or profitability.
* Establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
* Propose customer solutions that comply with appropriate local, state and federal regulations. Communicate to and work with the Area Sales Managers to resolve unique customer issues.
* Demonstrate knowledge of customers' needs, pricing and competition; effectively communicate pricing and service strategies; proactively engage other WM business opportunities, referring internally as appropriate.
* Acquire in-depth industry and company knowledge in order to prepare complex proposals and make recommendations on equipment optimization and leasing options.
* Maintain current knowledge of internal sale strategies and operational capabilities, and external market trends.
* Work closely and effectively communicate with Plant Managers and Brokerage Account Managers to assist in upgrading materials to increase profitability and achieve plant goals.

+ After obtaining a CDL, perform all responsibilities of a Driver in one of the Company's lines of business (i.e., Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Roll-Off).

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs pre and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and documents checks utilizing the standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report).
Immediately reports all unsafe situations or service-related issues to Operations Manager or Dispatch.
Attends and participates in all scheduled training programs, briefings, and meetings as required by WM or directed by the Route Manager.
Works closely with Operations Manager to improve route efficiencies and identify best practices.
Notifies Operations Manager of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
Notifies Operations Manager or Dispatch of service interruptions including closed or impassable streets or alleyways, receptacles too heavy to service or potential safety hazards.
Communicates customer requests to Operations Manager or Dispatch.
Completely dumps all receptacles and leaves the customer's location clean and free of debris.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

I. Job Summary
Safely operates a heavy-duty truck to perform assigned duties on transfer routes.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
Operates vehicle in accordance with Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements as well as all local, state and federal requirements and Company expectations for the Fleet; maintains a clean and safe vehicle.
Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle using utilizing standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report); notes all issues on DVIR form for corrective review/repair.
Immediately reports any unsafe situations or service calls to Operations Manager or Dispatch before attempting service.
Participates and cooperates in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required by Operations Manager.
Works closely with Operations Managers to improve route efficiencies and identify problem or unsafe accounts.
Performs all duties as scheduled by Operations Manager or Dispatch, assisting other company drivers as directed.
Notifies Operations Manager of any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage.
Notifies Dispatch or Operations Manager of issues as prescribed by Service Machine protocol, including blocked containers, potential missed pick-ups or problems that arise on the route.
Communicates customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Operations Manager.
Completely dumps all containers and leaves the customer's location clean and free of debris.
Completes and submits customer tickets when excess yardage must be removed.
Positions containers on the customer's property in a manner that ensures lids are properly replaced, containers are set in an upright position, and containers do not block driveway entrances or traffic.
Follows route assignments throughout the day and completes all documentation when checking-in at the end of the route.

Territory Sales Manager - Environmental Solutions

The Territory Sales Manager - ES is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and coordinating the activities of the sales team for Environmental Services, which provides its customers with non-hazardous and hazardous waste stream management, to effectively execute sales strategies that will maximize sales volume, drive targeted profitable growth and professionally develop the sales staff.
**PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Develops and implements comprehensive business strategies, and sales and marketing plans that complement the overall operating plan for the business units under the Sales Manager's responsibility.
+ Achieves consistent results through superior performance.
+ Directs a staff of sales and administrative personnel, including responsibility for hiring, training and performance coaching and management; complete weekly "ride-alongs" with sales personnel to provide training and coaching.
+ Manages sales performance and customer interaction through a leading CRM tool. Regularly reviews sales activity funnels and results in comparison to new sales and retention goals to drive the organization toward achievement of budgeted expectations.
+ Leads their assigned sales team through the establishment and implementation of "value selling and a standardized sales process."
+ Fosters an atmosphere conducive for professional development and career advancement. Identifies talent gaps, creates action plans and manages development and performance.
+ Works with the business unit teams to understand and implement key processes and identify and solve for constraints while proactively identifying customer hurdles.
+ Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of the Company's available services, lines of business, pricing and structures to assist sales staff selling circumstances as the need arises.
+ Analyzes and customizes Environmental Services' sales force structure against defined sales opportunities in the defined marketplace.
+ Monitors, gathers data, and analyzes the effectiveness of various customer, sales, and marketing programs and initiatives and provides effective feedback to relevant departments.
+ Assist with new customer solicitation, bid preparation and customer retention strategies.
+ Participates with business unit leadership to develop and implement pricing strategy to meet Company objectives.
+ Maintains an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends in designated market to anticipate changing customer needs; proactively manages customer base.
+ Reviews Customer Service Agreements for terms and conditions pricing, accuracy and other requirements.
+ Performs other job duties as assigned or apparent.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a sales role, including experience in peer leadership or supervision of other sales personnel. (Required.)
+ High School Diploma or GED (Required)
+ Valid driver's license (Required)
+ 5 years' experience in a role that includes supervising or managing sales personnel and activities (preferred)
+ Experience using business and sales software (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Salesforce or other CRM tools, etc.).
+ Experience developing comprehensive strategies.
+ Strong proven experience managing in a matrix organization across a large geographic area.
+ Is self-motivated; maintains a feeling of pride in work; has a strong work ethic and strives to achieve all goals; is competitive and has a strong drive to win; takes appropriate risks.
+ Good communication skills (written and verbal); can effectively communicate to all levels of management, both internally and externally.
+ Good time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient manner.
+ Has the ability to identify the information needed to clarify a situation; seeks information from appropriate sources; can tackle a problem using logical, sequential approach and can anticipate the implications of actions.
+ Ability to foster teamwork and enlist the support and participation of others.
+ Experience with a focus on sales, client relations and/or business development with proven expertise in petro-chemical in-plant waste management, environmental services, and industrial services, including hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams.

· Estimates time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
· Perform your work within our Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).

· Safety checks on vehicles - the safety of every single employee and the people in our communities is our number one priority
· Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
