    Wastequip is looking to hire a CSS out of our Galt, CA location. The Customer Service Specialist interacts with customers and ensures that they have a positive experience when conducting business with the company. They primarily field incoming telephone calls but occasionally meet face-to-face with new and existing customers; the Customer Service Specialist focuses on making sure the customer has a highly satisfying experience both during and after the sale. Customer Service Specialists also may help customers with troubleshooting problems in the field. Hourly Rate: $25.00 Essential Duties and Responsibilities * The primary focus of the customer service specialist (CSS) is to ensure that all customer's needs and concerns are addressed satisfactorily and in a timely fashion. * Provides general and technical information about products and services to current and potential customers. * Performs set number of outbound calls to current customers and prospects to secure additional business/sales opportunities. Secured opportunities will require quote creation and submittal. * Takes product and service order information and determines charges based on a pre-determined pricing and discount structure. * Listens and responds to customer questions and concerns; in the event the CSS is not able to meet the customer's needs, refers the customer to the Customer Service Manager to resolve the situation. * Records special details of transactions and makes notes on the customer's account regarding special instructions and/or non-standard orders (i.e., material used, shipping instructions, billing requests, etc.). * In the event a customer experiences a product failure in the field, the CSS may provide basic troubleshooting assistance to resolve the issue. * Serves a communication bridge between the end user/customer and the production facility staff; resolves minor related issues if they arise. * Performs other duties as designated by the Customer Service Manager. * No Supervisory responsibilities are generally required for this position. Education and Experience * High school or equivalent required. * Completion of an associate degree in business is preferred. * 2-3 years of previous sales/customer service experience is strongly preferred. * Experience with Microsoft Office products and ERP systems.     The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for managing profitable revenue growth of Wastequip container and Toter plastic carts for Central California Territory. The position will be remote based out of Central California Territory. Reporting to the Director of Sales, the RSM is responsible for meeting sales goals and objectives with existing customers as well as identification and development of new customers. Wastequip's customer base includes waste/recycling haulers, municipalities, specialty recyclers and equipment dealers/brokers. Products include plastic carts, steel containers, compactors, and bailers. Using Salesforce.com, the RSM will manage the lead/opportunity pipeline, coordinate orders with inside sales & operations and maintain account information such as sales call activity, customer contacts and call notes. Salary: $75,000 + Monthly Commission. Additional responsibilities/duties include: Responsibilities * Responsible for maintaining and proactively seeking new business in private & municipal/county markets, preparing proposals, administering presentations, negotiating, & controlling all aspects of the sale. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree 10+ years of Commercial business development and operations experience in the construction industry ideally within finish carpentry and interiors. Demonstrated leadership skills, highly positive outlook, flexible, team building experience.
