Basic Job Functions: The primary responsibility of this job is to monitor and improve process operations and equipment in recycling, process water & wastewater plant at DNM site in accordance with First Solar and local/federal regulatory safety & environmental requirements. This person will also assist with new plant design concept development, detailed engineering design reviews, vendor selection, project planning and management, and plant startup/commissioning and/or process modifications/upgrades. Education/Experience: Bachelor's engineering degree with 3-5 years' experience in chemical process improvements including product quality improvement, chemical process optimization, transitioning a R&D process into manufacturing & enhancing equipment life. Experience in managing consultants, vendors, and contractors in chemical processes design upgrades. Material handling systems design, piping design and process control design experience. Managing plant equipment preventive maintenance programs. New plant start-up, process troubleshooting & hazardous material handling experience. Responsible for developing engineering process design specification package for vendor selection, construction project planning and oversight of recycling & wastewater projects.
