This Opportunity:
Join our drinking water and wastewater infrastructure team to support the planning, design, and construction of water treatment, wastewater treatment, pumping, distribution, storage or conveyance projects

Essential Qualifications:

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead estimating and proposal efforts for new water/wastewater pipeline opportunities, including development of winning technical approaches and innovative conveyance solutions

Coordinate with other disciplines including pumping systems, treatment facilities, SCADA/controls, and geotechnical engineering
Complete pipeline site visits, utility coordination meetings, and construction observation as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a similar degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in MN and/or WA or ability to obtain it within 6 months
15+ years' experience in water/wastewaterengineering with demonstrated expertise in pipeline design and hydraulic systems
15+ years' experience with production/design of water and wastewater pipelines, pump stations, treatment facilities, and conveyance infrastructure
Proven experience in project management and technical review across water/wastewater pipeline projects and utility infrastructure
Strong written and verbal communications skills with ability to interface with utility clients and regulatory agencies
Knowledge of Civil 3D and hydraulic modeling software (WaterCAD, SewerCAD, or similar)
ArcGIS Pro knowledge a plus for utility mapping and asset management
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing comprehensive QA/QC processes and procedures for water/wastewater pipeline projects with emphasis on system performance and regulatory compliance
Proven track record of business development and client relationship management within the municipal utilities and water/wastewater sector

**Qualifications**

Remote wastewater project engineer job
T&M Associates is looking for a Principal Water Engineer to join our growing Columbus, Ohio office. This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility with a balance of remote work and in-office collaboration. We're seeking an experienced professional with 7+ years in water and wastewater planning, design, and construction administration, ready to lead impactful projects and guide multi-discipline teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering, or a related field (required)
7+ years of progressive experience in water/wastewater process, treatment, and distribution projects
2+ years of project management experience preferred
Ohio Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D desired
MS Office and MS Project experience required
Strong communication skills with proven ability to work with clients and cross-discipline teams
Key Responsibilities
Lead planning and design for municipal and industrial water/wastewater infrastructure projects
Manage budgets, schedules, deliverables, and technical documentation from design through construction
Oversee complex projects, including Design Reports, bidding, and construction phases
Develop proposals, budgets, and technical strategies for new opportunities
Build and maintain strong client relationships through active engagement
Assemble and mentor multi-discipline teams, providing guidance to junior staff
T&M Associates is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation practices in compliance with applicable laws. T&M estimates that the salary range for this position will fall between $104,500 - $135,000. The actual salary offered may vary within this range, depending on a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, educational qualifications, specific skills and knowledge, as well as internal pay equity and geographic location.
