This includes cost analysis of repairing existing equipment versus replacement with new equipment Installation, repair, and maintenance of all HVAC systems and assignments common to the trade Effective customer service and communication skills Understanding and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and ladder diagrams Ability to: Diagnose problems/malfunctions in a wide variety of systems and equipment Inspect, service, repair, and install a wide variety of refrigeration equipment, flooring, roofing, ceiling, fire alarm, electrical switches, and misc building items Effective oral and written communications Maintain records/prepare reports Be flexible and adapt to changing priorities Work under pressure Selective Preference(s): Five years previous building operations engineering experience, with emphasis in one or more of the following: electrical, plumbing, mechanical or HVAC Pre-Employment Requirements: Certification for refrigerant recovery (EPA Universal Certification) Valid Arizona driver's license Background and reference check, including a criminal records verification If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job to conduct State business, then the following requirements apply: Driver's License Requirements.
