This position requires previous offshore experience. This person will inspect work area for hydrocarbon containing vessels, combustible and flammable material. Utilizing electronic gas monitoring device inspect around vessels, valves, flanges and drain openings for presence of flammable gases. Erect tarps around work area to shield hydrocarbon-containing vessels within 35' of work area, wash skids and plug drains.
Specific knowledge and skills required:
The ability to perform and act professionally as outlined in the standards of Safety Management Systems.
The ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with a good knowledge of Industry terminology.
The ability to act professionally with other employees, employees of other companies and trades.
