What you get to do:

Change pumps, motors and related piping as needed for Water Quality Systems.

Perform routine maintenance on Water Quality system sensors and related materials.

Make PVC and other piping repairs, for ½" through 14" including installation of valves and other devices.

Move chemicals and supplies as needed by the systems under your control.

Perform water chemistry tests and make adjustments as needed.

Perform other Water Quality and Park Services duties as required.

What it takes to succeed:

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must be able to work at least 40 hours a week with flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays and night work

Water Chemistry and treatment experience preferred

CPO or AFO required within 6 months of employment

Must currently have valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving guidelines

Must have at least 4 years of knowledge of Water Chemistry and treatment experience

3 to 4 years of maintenance work, circulation pumps, PVC installation and repairs

Able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week (some overtime required) with rotating shifts including nights, weekends and holidays

What else is important:

Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. of material on a regular basis

Work environment primary outdoors in Florida weather conditions(high heat/humidity, wet weather conditions

Engage in extensive walking and standing

Must be able to bend, stoop and squat for long periods of time
