Qualifications
Possess a Bachelor's or higher Degree in Civil Engineering.
PE license in California
3+ years preparing Drainage Reports in Southern California
Applicant must have a strong knowledge of both County and City of San Diego hydrologic and hydraulic requirements for development projects and understand the current hydromodification requirements under the current County of San Diego MS4 permit
Experienced in Rational Method calculation and basin routing calculations
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, ArcGIS, HEC programs, PondPack, and SWMM is desired.
Certifications/Licenses:
Floodplain Manager Certification by ASFPM (preferred).
The pay range for this position in California is $104,000 to $125,000 per year. Base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location of the candidate. Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage dam repair and dam removal projects from planning through design, permitting, and construction support
