As a Chemical Process Operator, you will work a rotating shift in our chemical manufacturing plant and will perform operating activities as part of the manufacturing team to ensure the safe and efficient production and packing of titanium dioxide pigment and associated products. The Chemical Operator is responsible for safe and proper operation of equipment in his/her area in accordance with the standard operating instructions, company policies and shift supervisor's instructions.
This is a safety critical role.
Key activities include:
Adherence to all SHE policies and procedures and INEOS Pigments' 20 principles of process and Behavioral Safety and Life Saving Rules
Makes appropriate adjustments to meet safety, quality, and environmental requirements. Tends equipment or semi-automatic systems that processes chemical substances into industrial intermediate and finished products.
Reports and/or resolves conditions affecting safety, efficiency or product quality with peers, technical or supervisory personnel. Troubleshoots equipment problems and process upsets.
Monitors in-process quality results for slurry production and packaging quality for dry production. Monitors maintenance activity in the area, including signing of work permits.
Perform Job Tasks as outlined in SOPs.
Perform quality-related jobs as indicated in the Quality Procedures Documents of the Unit.
Completes all documentation accurately
Reviews, comprehends and follows all company rules, policies and guidelines
Adhere to current Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Quality & Organization
* Separate and organize product during setup and after processing.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area.

* Assist in problem-solving of furnace-related issues using learned knowledge and reasoning skills.
Education & Experience
* High School diploma or GED required.
* Two-year technical degree preferred but not required.
* Experience in machine operation, chemical processing, heat treat, or industrial furnace operation is helpful but not required - training provided.
Work Environment
* Clean, temperature- and humidity-controlled production area.
* Dust collection systems in use throughout facility.
* Safety glasses and safety shoes required.
* Breathing apparatus available for rare emergency scenarios (e.g., furnace malfunction).
* Hazardous gases monitored continuously for safety.
* Noise levels below 85 dB (hearing protection recommended).
Physical Demands
* Standing for most of the shift (two breaks per 8-hour period).
* Intermittent walking, reaching, bending, and light machine interaction.
* Lifting limited to a maximum of 30-33 lbs (insert trays).
Problem-Solving Responsibilities
* Operators hold responsibility for furnace performance during their shift.
* Work is conducted with autonomy while adhering to established procedures.
* Must communicate deviations promptly to leadership.
* Use knowledge, training, and reasoning to solve furnace- or process-related issues.

Control Room Operator

Control Room Operator Pay: $25-$30/hour
We are seeking a Control Room Operator to support daily and nightly operations in the Oil & Gas industry. You will work closely with Supervisors, Field Staff, Consultants, and other departments on production, water, construction, and field service activities.
Responsibilities:
Handle inbound and outbound calls from company employees and vendors, dispatching and relaying information to the appropriate personnel.
Communicate between shifts regarding operational concerns, issues, and ongoing projects.
Report and track all activity during the 12-hour shift to ensure accurate shift turnover documentation.
Deliver, update, and record all work order information for the Operations Control Center.
Work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Adapt to changing priorities as the shift progresses.
Requirements:
Experience with Microsoft Office products.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Must be tech-savvy and able to learn new computer programs quickly.
Must pass pre-employment and random drug screens, as well as a criminal background check.
Prior control room, dispatching, or oil & gas field experience is preferred but not required.
