As an important member of our clinic team, the Host assists members with checking in and demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of self-insured employer health insurance, including copays, co-insurance, and related benefits. The Host role facilitates the member's experience throughout our health center. Welcomes each member and handles all member interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism. Demonstrates a commitment to quality, delivering uncompromised service and outcomes. Accommodates special requests for member support whenever possible and helps to promptly resolve member questions. Assists with assigned projects and special provider or patient requests. Assists with the member check-in process, including a basic understanding of benefit eligibility files, check-in technology and overall clinic workflows within the context of care delivery. Processes transactions required to begin or complete the visit. Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of employer-sponsored health insurance, including copays, co-insurance, and related benefit specific requirements, in order to support members. Engages with members by answering calls, scheduling appointments, responding to emails, and following up with member needs. Collaborates with providers and staff members to deliver an exceptional seamless patient-centered care experience. Performs other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 1 year of experience in customer service position Preferred Qualifications Excellent computer skills and familiarity with Apple products (Mac, iPad, iPhone), ChromeOS, or client-branded Windows products such as Microsoft or HP. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative care team environment Proven organizational skills High level of ownership, accountability and initiative Experience with multitasking, issue resolution, and conflict management Experience in a health care service delivery environment BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

STATEMENT OF JOB: The Server is responsible for courteously serving resident and guest meals, and for clean-up and resetting of dining room following meal service. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Policies/Procedures/Administration Maintain a good working knowledge of all dining room and kitchen responsibilities and procedures Understands basic kitchen equipment operation (food processor, dishwasher, beverage machine, etc.) Maintain a clean work area in the kitchen, serving area, and dining room Understands proper table setting for each meal Residents: Assists residents when placing orders from the menu Provide beverage service (water, iced tea, juices, milk and coffee/tea) Refill salt/pepper/sugar bowls prior to and after each meal Report any broken equipment or tableware to supervisor Understands sit-down service and proper serving techniques Has a basic understanding of food preparation (salads, desserts, etc.) Knowledge of proper food storage and labeling techniques Sweep, mop, and vacuum kitchen and dining room Attends required in-services and staff meetings Completes all other duties assigned Must be attentive to special needs of residents including: mobility deficits, memory impairment, etc.) Assists with tray service Follows confidentiality policies regarding release of resident information Interacts in a polite considerate manner to residents, guests, co-workers and supervisors

What to Expect Consistent delivery of an approachable refined hospitality experience Willing to have a flexible schedule Always attentive to guests and team Arrange tables and seating plan for the night based on expected reservations Answer phone calls and messaging sent to the restaurant Ensure arrivals area is clean, stocked with supplies needed and organized at all times Welcome our guests upon arrival and thank them when departing Approaches guests and collects information needed to assist with seat and bar arrangements Check in guests with reservation and confirm any applicable notations Organizing nightly dining reservations, private parties and any guest's special occasion Maintains knowledge of the restaurant layout and table numbers, seating the room evenly per operational needs and member requests Accommodate walk in guests Works with a sense of urgency to anticipate guests and team members needs when the opportunity arises Communicates with management, and service staff immediately to rectify any and all guest needs and requests Walk guests to table and be available to answer any immediate questions Ensure all notes, allergies mentions and requests are communicated to server Share your thorough knowledge of the food and beverage menu in order to answer all questions from guests and team Ensure the work area is in compliance with the Health and TABC code at all times Being Part of the Team You are constantly in motion Always smiling, even on the inside Adapting to changes and adjustments on the fly Gladly taking responsibility and not leaving it to others Service is a conversation not a transaction Not afraid to change or innovate Committed to learning all about the food and beverage we offer Comfortable with receiving feedback and brave enough to deliver it Living in the “We” and not always the “I or Me” Sometimes being in the weeds and ready to help each other clear a path You take responsibility and not leave it to others Genuine care for others You are kind You say thank you a lot during your shift You Should Have Prefer one (1) or more years of serving experience in a high volume fine dining restaurant A valid TABC Certification and Food Handlers Certification may be required and must be obtained before entering this position Must have an outgoing personality and hospitality driven attitude Must be a highly organized individual with the ability to handle numerous tasks at a time Must be polished, professional, friendly, dynamic and able to multitask PHYSICAL AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift. Must be observant and quick to respond to various situations while also multitasking and handling stressful situations. Must be able to twist, tow (push or pull), reach, bend, climb and carry objects as necessary. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to work in a fast pace and high-volume environment in the presence of areas containing high noise levels, bright lights and dust and communicate during this time - sometimes within a small area. Must be able to work inside and outside at all times of the year as needed, based upon business volumes.
